Pokemonfans have imagined what life would be like living alongside the collectable creatures for as long as the series has been around. A new video direct from ThePokemonCompany gives fans a peek into what that life could look like while also sharing a pair of adorable Pokemon-themed recipes.
Pokemonhas created many short YouTube videos to share with its fans, ranging from soft wind-down ASMR-type videos to special animations and everything in-between. This new video is a collaboration between Nisshokuki and The Pokemon Company,combining real world footage and CG-generated Pokemon.

As this is the first episode of a three-part series called SweetWinter With Pokemon, the episode opens with the talented cook behind the Nisshokuki channel waking up to the sight of several Pokemon passing through a nearby hallway. After preparing a cup of Pokemon coffee, the cook gets to work, showing a step-by-step recipe of what appear to be Pokemon cream puffs.
After baking the delicate creations, Nisshokuki fills the cream puff with an appropriately Pikachu-colored custard. Then, with the help of a few decorations, they complete the look with Pikachu’s ears, eyes, mouth, and red cheeks. The CG Pikachu appears utterly delighted at the little creations, but their Jigglypuff companion seems disappointed that they’ve been left out. Not to worry, though, as Nisshokuki gets right back to it, producing a Jigglypuff variant of the dessert, enrobed in a Jigglypuff-pink cream cheese milk mixture and then covered in similar decorations.
Fans of baking andPokemonwill likely love these videos, as they illustrate an idyllic day-in-the-life of someone sharing the world with Pokemon. The next two subjects will likely focus on a different set of Pokemon, as others likePsyduck and Charmandercan be seen in the YouTuber’s home.
Even though it took some time for cooking to be featured inPokemongames, the two hobbies have nonetheless gone hand-in-hand for some time. Fans around the world have combined the two, bringing their favorite Pokemon to life in the form of delectable treats andPokemon-themed drinks.Pokemonfood has also been popular in Japan, wherePokemoncafes regularly offer entire meals based around the look and stories behind select Pokemon.
Unfortunately, the recipe is untranslated at this time, so English-speaking fans may have some difficulty attempting to replicate the recipe. However, it’s likely only a matter of time before The Pokemon Company amends this, as such an adorable video and sweet treats can be enjoyed across the entire world byPokemon’s massive fan population.
