The Ryzen 7 7800X3D launched earlier this year for $450. At the time, it proved to be a great value whenconsidering the competition. Earlier this month, the CPU was available via multiple retailers including Amazon and Newegg,among others for $399. More recently, the price dropped further to $385 which was its lowest since launch – until now.

Walmart’s online store haslisted the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D for $354which is about $100 lower than its original launch price. Notably, the Walmart listing shows that the chip is being sold and shipped by Newegg, but those interested will have to make the order via Walmart. Newegg itself is not offering the same discount on the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and is selling the CPU for$399. However, there is a third-party seller listing the 7800X3D for$381. The Walmart price is the cheapest the CPU has ever been listed at. However, it’s unclear how long this price will last.

This discount could be in preparation for the early access ofStarfieldon August 31. The game officially launches on September 6. For the past couple of months, AMD and Bethesda have been getting the fans hyped with promotions that include a free copy of the game with the purchase of an eligible AMD CPU or GPU. While the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is an eligible CPU that enables customers to get the Standard Edition ofStarfieldfor free, the Walmart listing does not mention the promotion or any bundle. It does come with free shipping though, if that’s any consolation.

On the other hand, while the Newegg listing for $399 does come with aStarfieldbundle, the $381 listing does not. Those looking to snag a free copy ofStarfieldwith their new CPU should check the descriptions before placing the order. Gamers can still get the game for free with these other AMD CPUs and GPUs.
