10Get Online On Sunday Morning To Buy Turnips
You should get online between 4am and noon on a Sunday to meet Daisy Mae on your island when you’ve been playing a while. She’s easy to recognize, since she has a basket on her head and is carrying turnips. When you talk to her, she’ll ask if you’d like to buy some after telling you about them, and your answer should be yes.
9Check The Buying Price Is Good
The buying price of turnips is usually between 90-110 bells, so it doesn’t varythatmuch — but it’s up to you if you want to buy when they’re closer to the 110 mark. Ultimately, you may probably still make a profit, so it might be worth buying a bunch anyway but some more savvy players may decide not to buy unless they’re at 90 so they can maximize the bell profit.
It’s a good idea to buy a lot of them though, otherwise the profit won’t be very much.
8Check Turnip Prices Every Day, Twice A Day
Once you’ve bought your turnips, as of Monday, you should check the prices at Nook’s Cranny in the morning and in the afternoon. Timmy and Tommy Nook will give you a price they’ll buy your turnips for that changes every day, and then again at noon, so you can check how much of a profit you’ll make by selling to them. It’s important to wait for a good number before you decide to hand over the goods.
7Don’t Time Travel
Don’t time travel with turnips! The prices at Nook’s Cranny will change if you try to go back in time to access better ones but worse, if you travel back at all, the turnips will spoil. This means they can no longer be sold for a profit, and the price you’ll get for them is pretty poor.
If you leave spoiled turnips on the ground, they’ll attract ants.
6Use Online Price Predictors
Price predictors have popped up online that you’re able to snoop around and check out. If you enter your Nook’s Cranny prices, they claim to be able to predict when prices will be good and when they’ll get worse.
If you’re truly dedicated to the stalk market, you’re able to really do your research on multiple of these resources and see when it’s looking good for you.
5Check In With Friends
It’s a good idea to check in with friends and see what turnip prices are like on their island because if they’re really nice, they might let you come on over and sell your turnips in their store. Turnip prices are the same for everyone at each Nook’s Cranny, so nothing is going to change if you hop on over there and use their store to sell the goods.
4Join Communities
Discord,Reddit, and other social sites have set up communities where people can check turnip prices and go to each other’s islands to sell.

Beware though: most people on these islands have a price for your visit, or at least require a tip. It’s a controversial practice in the community, but letting people in and out of your island can be time-consuming — especially if you have a very high price and lots of people wanting to visit.
3Don’t Wait More Than A Week
if you wait until next Sunday to sell, your turnips will spoil and you’ll have to buy new ones. Don’t wait too long to sell — if the price isn’t looking great on Friday but it’s more than you paid for them, it still might be worth giving over your turnips.
2Let Friends Come To You
It’s important to let friends come to you when you have good prices! It doesn’t affect you at all to let them sell at your store, and they might be so grateful that they drop you a few gifts even if you don’t say you require anything.
They’re also going to be way more likely to give you a heads up the next timetheyhave good prices.
1Oh Well — Spoiled Turnips Still Sell
If worst comes to worst and you forgot to sell or accidentally time traveled, you can still sell spoiled turnips. You’re going to make a loss, because they aren’t going to be as much as you paid for them, but it’ll be less of a loss than if you just leave them somewhere to attract ants. Lesson learned for next week!
