Despite its numbers not scratching the same concurrent player count raked in by the likes ofHogwarts LegacyandBaldur’s Gate 3, it is still a rather impressive figure consideringArmored Coreis one of FromSoftware’s more relatively niche series. Compared to other FromSoftware game launches,Armored Core 6is the studio’s second-biggest launch, withElden Ringbeing at the top in terms of launch player count. It however surpasses the player count of other FromSoftware titles that have launched on Steam, such asDark Souls 3andSekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Armored Core 6’s launch player count was surpassed quite recently over the weekend as well, managing to hit a new all-time peak of 156, 171 players on July 09, 2025. Despite it going up against some big titles that launched this month, most notablyBaldur’s Gate 3, it seemsArmored Core 6has done a good job to stand out and carve out a newfound following.
