Babylon’s Fallhas a unique mechanic that allows the player, with the power of the Gideon Coffin, to wield four weapons at the same time. Players will use a combination of light and heavy attacks on the standard button face while simultaneously using the triggers to wield their other weapons.
Each faction inBabylon’s Fallhas a specific niche that applies best to it, and the game will provide a suggested weapon at the start depending on what the player chose for their faction. Fortunately, players are not stuck using one type of weapon solely based on the class decision; they are able to use any weapon type. However, each class will have better strengths and weaknessesthat the player may want to lean into with the weapons provided.

Huysian
If the player chooses the Huysian faction, they will be much more inclined to quick maneuvering combat with high and constant damage per second. The Huysian faction begins the game with a sword, and the player should keep this suggestion as their primary for quick attacks. With three slots left, it is recommended that the player include either a rod or repeating bow in one of the Gideon Coffin slots to have some kind of ranged capability.
Players of this faction may want to stay out of sustained combat, allowing their tank to do that, so it is not recommended to waste a slot with a shield, as the player candodge much more effectively anyways.

The player may consider including a second sword as their strong attack as it is quicker than the hammer at the cost of the lower damage. Still, in combination with the other sword doing light attacks, the player can create some solid combos out of that. If the player wants that heavy strike, it is suggested to equip a hammer to the available Gideon Coffin slot, as it can be charged separately from the light and heavy strikes for near-constant damage.
Altogether, the suggested combination for this class will be dual swords for the light and heavy attacks, with a hammer in one Gideon Coffin slot, and a repeating bow or rod in the other. This is by no means the end all be all, of course, as many other combinations can be effective – this is simply a suggestion based on the intended playstyle.

Agavian
If the player chooses the Agavian faction, they should be more anchored towards slow heavy attacks, tanking damage, andagro for their team. The Agavian faction begins the game with a hammer, and this should be a followed suggestion for the primary. The player may want to include the hammer as their strong attack with a sword as the light for a more traditional combination.
The player can get a bit creative herewhen it comes to the Gideon Coffin, as the Agavian is fairly capable of using just about all the weapon types effectively, save only the wands and rods. If the player wants absolute maximum strong attacks, they could have only hammers in the slots to rain down constant hard strikes with each trigger push.

The player could have hammers in all Gideon slots and the strong, and then hold all of those buttons together and release them for a triple hammer strike that will do absolutely devastating damage at the cost of taking time and leaving the player vulnerable. The player will want to have maximum vitality, in this case, to keep themselves alive as they tank lots of damage.
If the player wants a more rounded style, it is suggested to include a sword and power bow as the Gideon Coffin slots. The power bow works well here as the player can plant themselves in a particular spot and tank damage while firing uninterrupted. This also allows the player to be useful against foes that appear on platforms out of reach of melee attacks.

The sword is also great in the Gideon Coffin slot. Holding down the trigger causes it to consistently swing in front of the player, which provides spacing and constant damage that, combined with the strong and heavy attacks, can prove almost inescapable and highly sustainable. Players can, of course, make all of these things evenmore powerful by visiting the forge inBabylon’s Fall.
Geleilion
Finally, there is the Geleilion faction, which will begin the game with a bow. Obviously, players of this class will be inclined towards ranged attacks and staying out of melee engagements. The player has an option here, in that both bows and magic are effective ranged choices.
To have at least some sort of melee capability in the case of engagement, the player should include the sword as their light attack or in a Gideon Coffin slot. If they put it in the Gideon Coffin slot, they can use it similarly as described in the previous section, allowing the player to space themselves from their foe while also causing consistent damage.

They could then use a power bow or repeating bow in their strong attack while the foe is stunned, or use the opportunity to get away. The less damage the team can take while dishing out the most damage in any given situation will becrucial for higher tier rewards.
Otherwise, the player could max out their ranged capacity by including all ranged types in each slot, although it is most recommended to at least keep the sword in the quick attack slot just in case. If the player is going to do this, it will be vital that they gather equipment high in spirit, as every ranged strike from the Gideon Coffin slots will eat into that.
Players should experiment in the early game with all the weapons available to see what is right for them. The first Civic Cloister is very easy and a perfect playground to decide which works best given the player’s playstyle. The player can also replay any previous level they have completedat the Quest Boardto try different styles in the same environment.
Of course, these are all mere suggestions, as players are encouraged to select anything they want for their playthrough.
