Predecessoris a game in the MOBA genre, which is short for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. Other games in the genre includeOverwatchandLeague of Legends. In these titles, aplayer will select from a rosterof characters, before rushing into battle to take down as many enemies as they can before time runs out.
There are many players who will be able to instantly take toPredecessor, along with the basics of playing a MOBA game. However, there are also many new players who will struggle a bit, and may need some beginner tips before they can get started.

7Learn About Abilities
Every character inPredecessorhas a unique ability, as is the case in most Multiplayer Online Battle Arena games. Each ability meshes with that character’s skillset, and each one can provide an interesting way to play.

The best way for new players to figure out how they want to play the game is to go through every character that the game has to offer. Each character will offer a different play style, and surely one of them will click. Try them all, and see which one feels the most natural.
6Get in Range to See Enemies
New players may get tripped up by the fact that, if a player is not close enough to the enemy, they will literally not be able to see them. This is the “fog of war” effect, which many players may not realize is an actual thing. Being unaware of it can be deadly inPredecessor.
A player should always remember to be on guard, because there could be any point where they need to beprepared for an enemy to strike. It is also worth remembering that enemies can hide in the tall grass around a player as well.

5Recall to Base to Get Out of Danger
If a player is feeling rather overwhelmed by everything going on in the match, it may be tempting to run off to safety. Most players will think to turn around and start sprinting, but there is actually a much easier way to get out of danger.
All that a player has to do is press the B key on their keyboard, and this will instantly bring them back to their base. From there, a player will then be able to stockup on healing items and get ready to face the horde again. Don’t be afraid to make a strategic retreat if things get too intense.

4Use Refillable Potions
Luckily, if a player does take a bit of damage, it is not the end of the world. It is worth noting that each player will be given access to a Refillable Potion, which can work really well in a pinch. Each time they use the potion, players will be able to heal themselves for 80 points of damage.

The player will be able to use the Refillable Potion twice before it runs out. Of course, if it does run out, player will be on their own. Use this health boost wisely and save it for when things get dire.
3The Auto Buy System is Useful
When most players join a game with an “automatic equipment” or “automatic buying” system for the first time, they usually turn it off about halfway through game play. After all, a computer cannot equip or buy things with as much nuance as a player can.
However, in the beginning of the game, that is not really going to matter. All that players should worry about in thebeginning is managing their money. The automatic buying will be able to help players manage that well enough to get by, so don’t pass it up.

2Play With Different Characters
There are, of course, many characters that a player will be able to choose from. They range from Drongo, Khaimera, to Steel. All are characters that a player can do well with, if they take the time to mess around with them and learn each of their fighting styles.
There are multiple types of gameplay thatPredecessorplayers could use with their many characters. For example, one character maybe better at long range combat, while another character does best with their fists. There are enough characters for every player to use and tailor.

1Use the Fog of War
As mentioned above, fog of war can be frustrating when it comes to players finding their opponents. However, players can also use the fog of war to their advantage.
Just as a player will not be able to see their enemies if they are too far away, the enemies will not be able to see the player if they are too far away. A player can simply crouch down in some tall grass, wait for the enemies to get close, andthen launch a surprise attack on them.
