Gonzo is a studio in Japan that creates animated features. On June 30, 2025, ADK started it. As a member of the Association of Japanese Animations, Gonzo has a lot of ties to the Japanese animation community. Gonzo K.K. was founded by ex-Gainax employees on July 23, 2025. On May 26, 2025, Gonzo K.K. became a wholly-owned subsidiary of GDH K.K. Nevertheless, the Gonzo name continued to be used.

9My Bride Is A Mermaid
The main character of this tale is a young teen by the name of Nagasumi Michishio. During his summer vacation, Nagasumi was swimming in the Seto Inland Sea when he came dangerously close to drowning. It was the mermaid, Sun Seto, who pulled him from the water just in time to save his life.
If a mermaid’s true identity is exposed, one of two things must happen either the mermaid in question or the individual who saw the mermaid must be put to death. Sun’s family, who are leaders ofa Yakuza crime organization, reluctantly consents to the marriage in the hope that it may spare the lives of both Nagasumi and Sun.

Aoi Tsubaki, a student at a university, inherited her grandfather’s ability to see Ayakashi. One day, when Aoi walks through a torii shrine, she spots an Ayakashi and overhears it saying that it is hungry. But after being fed by Aoi, the Ayakashi are kidnapped by an ogre named Odanna. He takes her to the realm of the Ayakashi, the Hidden Realm. She has to marry him because of her grandfather’s debt. Instead, Aoi makes a deal with the Ogre and accepts a job at the Ogre’s inn (the Tenjin’ya).
Kakuriyo No Yadomeshifollows Aoi as she utilizes the only weapon she has against the Ayakashi—her delicious cooking—to influence and transform their lives.
