Certain series' renewals have also fizzled out of the spotlight, asDemon Slayer: Swordsmith Village ArcandDr. Stone: New Worlddominates the long-term anime viewers' attention.

With so many series to choose from, a few gems are bound to fall through the cracks, overshadowed by the widespreadpopularity ofOshi No Ko,Hell’s Paradise,andMashle: Magic and Muscles.However, upon closer inspection, there are many other worthwhile anime just waiting to be discovered and finally earn the chance to expand their fandoms.
8Magical Girl Magical Destroyers
Everyone’s worst nightmare has become a reality, as Earth is suddenly deprived of all its Otaku necessities, which are unceremoniously confiscated from the general public by a hoard of masked machines. The veryart of Otaku obsessionsubsequently becomes a criminal offense, and within a week, the world becomes a nerd-hating dystopia.
However, the most die-hard fans refuse to submit to this ungodly tyranny and form a resistance against the Shobon Army. The chuunibyou charm of these Otaku Heroes fuels their determination, as they risk their lives fighting for the freedom to enjoy their cherished anime and video games again one day. 7Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Punch!
Yuna is back for a second round of bear-themed entertainmentas this wannabe NEETfinds herself busier than ever! After making a mission to save the bees (and their precious honey reserves), Yuna is faced with an unbearable task: dealing with people her own age, yuck! Kids and animals are easy, but teenagers are torturous. Despite her best efforts, Yuna is tasked with escorting a group of students from an elite academy, who disregard their bodyguard’s abilities based on her sub-par appearance.
Each episode of Season 2 takes Yuna off on a different adventure, adding to the excitement and unpredictability of her Isekai experience. Even Kumakyuu and Kumayuru get a new look as they occasionally transform into cuddly baby bear forms. The same slice-of-life style of storytelling continues from Season 1, accompanied by fierce monstrosities brilliant bears, and all-new adventures.

Comedy and sci-fi seem to be the combination to experiment with in Spring 2023,withThe Marginal Serviceadding its own unique flair. Take duplicates ofMash (Mashle: Magic and Muscle), turn them into spies, and attach some futuristic weaponry while adding both aliens and camouflaging mythological beasts to the scenario. That’s Brian Nightraider’s new life in a nutshell.

TheLGBTQ+community gets a new addition to the Yuri genre, eloquently delivered by the most likable girl around. Hime Shiraki prides herself in being the quintessential “girl next door,” while her people-pleasing skills are on point! That is, until she unexpectedly becomesa host at the shojo hotspot,Café Liebe, and is incapable of charming her “senpai” in the slightest.

Despite the obvious contention, Hime and Mitsuki must act like romance-obsessed sisters whenever customers are around. However, the double standards of Mitsuki’s treatment begin to wear on Hime’s neatly-trimmed edges. Meanwhile, Kanoko wants to get in on the Hime-action and joins the Liebe Academy ladies to stake her claim on her paramour, creating even more confusion for the self-declared straight girl in the process.
3Otaku Elf
TheMagical Girl Magical Destroyersaren’t the only ones beingtargeted for their Otaku interests,as poor Elda is having a tough time gaining her miko’s support. The straight-laced human is all about upholding promises and fulfilling responsibilities, whereas the elven Goddess just wants to be left in peace with her manga, anime, games, props, artwork, etc. Young Koito Koganei could certainly benefit from some re-prioritizing, perhaps starting with a chill pill!
Elda has honored her promise and remained at the Takamimi Shrine for over four hundred years; however, she has become increasingly more introverted over time. Now, the great Goddess is quite happy to sit alone at home with her comforts. Koito, on the other hand, sees how much the townsfolk could gain from a little visit from their local deity and refuses to become a doormat for this spoiled Otaku princess!
2Edens Zero (Season 2)
Edens Zero’ssimilarities to the acclaimedFairy Tailseem to have curbed the fandom’s enthusiasm, and sadly not many viewers have made time for Season 2’s arrival. But there’s a vast difference between Wizardsand Ether Gear Users!This time around, Shiki is extending his horizons to the Aoi Cosmos and faces a familiar foe accompanied by a fearsome new crew. The bizarre assortment of Aoi residents certainly gives the show a fresh look, and comes with some intriguing new power-ups and some time-traveling shenanigans, too!

Unfortunately, Season 2’s Netflix release date has yet to be confirmed. However, it’s safe to assume they will air all the episodes simultaneously and hopefully work out some of the kinks in the process (as most English subtitles currently available are sub-standard.)

Although if anyone finds themselves in danger, he willingly risks everything to go all-out during a rescue mission, prioritizing heroism over self-preservation. He captivates the admiration of the princess and Duke’s daughter, inadvertently entering into a love triangle, which could be detrimental to the family’s good name if Cain doesn’t play his cards right!
