And evenCall of Duty Mobileprovides players with a near-identical experience that PC and console players have while playing the latestCall of Dutyentry. And that’s becauseCall of Duty Mobileretains lots of features that previous games have had, like the Perk system. But, there are some differences that players should keep in mind if they want to come out on top of the leaderboard.

Updated July 21, 2025,by Daniel Dilena:Many FPS titles have tried to compete with the Call of Duty franchise over the years but have ultimately failed. Even Triple A developers like DICE havebeen unable to trump Call of Duty, especially with their latest game, Battlefield 2042. And while Call of Duty has strayed a bit from its roots, its core gameplay remains mostly intact.Call of Duty Mobile continues to dominate the FPS mobile scene because its core gameplay sticks close to Call of Duty’s roots. It also helps that players can play it anywhere they go as long as they have an internet connection. And, due to its popularity, more players arejoining the ranks of CODMevery day, which means players must adapt to new builds by usingthe best Call of Duty: Mobile perks.

Fast Recovery Call of Duty Mobile

13Fast Recovery - Tier 1

Level Unlock:

One of the biggest mistakes newCODMplayers make is to rush into objectives Rambo-style. Another common mistake new players make is to get into a gunfight before their HP has recovered, making them easy kills for the rival team. Fast Recovery may not be thebest perk inCOD Mobile, but it can help players in certain scenarios.

This CODM perk increases a player’s recovery rate by 35%, which means they can get into the action much sooner. But, of course, players must wait for at least 5-seconds of receiving no damage to trigger the HP recovery.

Toughness Call of Duty Mobile

12Toughness - Tier 2

In recentCall of Dutyentries, recoil on guns has been almost non-existent (one of the aspects players want Activision to change for future titles), making even the worst COD players marksmen. However, an effective method of making an enemy player miss shots is by causing them to flinch by firing at them.

That’s where the Toughness perk comes in handy, as it reduces flinch by 60%. That means players have more chances of winning a gunfight if they land all their shots. But, this isn’t the best perk for players that use a controller to playCall of Duty Mobilesince recoil/flinch is almost non-existent.

Persistance Call of Duty Mobile

11Persistence - Tier 3

Nothing is worse than dying before unlocking a powerful Scorestreak like the VTOL or Orbital Laser inCall of Duty Mobile. And while there’s very little a player can do to avoid dying (aside from hacking), there’s a perk that’ll let players keep their Scorestreak progression even after death.

Persistence is a useful perk inCODM(or any COD title for that matter) since it lets players keep their Scorestreak, making it much easier to unlock the better, more lethal scorestreaks. But, players will need to work extra hard to unlock Scorestreaks since Persistence also increases the cost of each one by 2.

10Tactician - Tier 1

MostCODplayers only focus on using their guns or Scorestreaks while playing a match, but veteranCODplayers use all the tools the game provides them, like Tactical Equipment, since it can give them an advantage in a gunfight. EMP Grenades can disrupt a rival player’s minimap, while a well-thrown Molotov can prevent enemies from pushing.

So, for players that like to use Tactical Equipment, having the Tactician perk is a must as it lets them spawn into a match with an extra piece of Tactical Equipment.

9Lightweight - Tier 1

Players that remain still in a match will be easy pickings for veteran COD players, so players will need to be on the move if they want to win consistently. That’s why players do well in using the Lightweight Perk since it boosts sprinting speed by 10%, which can help escape gunfights or help in flanking enemy positions during competitive matches.

The Lightweight Perk also reduces fall damage, but there are hardly any tall buildings on any of the maps onCall of Duty Mobile, so that benefit is negligible.

8Tracker - Tier 2

Knowing where an enemy player is can be the key to winning a match (a tip most pro players strongly agree on), so the Tracker Perk is almost necessary since it shows enemy footprints for 4 seconds. But, of course, players can also use this perk defensively since knowing where an enemy went means you know where not to go.

Unfortunately, despite being a powerful perk, players can counter it by using other perks like Cold-Blooded. So, players should not solely rely on this perk but should learn to be aware of their surroundings.

Apart from being aware of their surroundings, listening to sound cues is another way players can get essential information about where an enemy player is coming from. So, players can limit the amount of information they give to their rivals by using the Dead Silence Perk.

The Dead Silence Perk muffles all walking, crouch, and prone movement, which can be helpful if players want to get a jump on their rivals. But, of course, running is not silenced, so players should be careful about running as enemy players will still hear their movements.

6Flak Jacket - Tier 1

Grenades and C4 have always been a staple in theCall of Dutymultiplayer arena since they can turn the tides in certain gunfights, especially whenpaired with the right Assault Rifle. Fortunately, players can counter these explosive types of equipment using the Flak Jacket Perk since it reduces damage from explosives by 35%.

Moreover, this perk protects players from any explosion, whether from a C4 or a Rocket Launcher blast. But, the Flak Jacket Perk doesn’t protect players from Molotov Cocktails, so players must steer clear of any player using them.

5Ghost - Tier 2

One of the most common scorestreaks is the UAV since it reveals the position of every enemy player on the mini-map. And while that may seem like an OP scorestreak, players can easily counter it by using the Ghost Perk since it hides them from UAVs.

Once players take away that information, the enemy team will have to take objectives blindfolded, making it easy to surprise them. And the only way players can counter Ghost is by using an Advanced UAV which costs several thousand points.

4High Alert - Tier 3

Snipers have always abounded in FPS games, especially inCall of Duty Mobile Battle Royalegame mode. But, players can use the High Alert Perk to avoid being sniped by enemy players since it alerts players whenever an enemy is pointing at them.

Moreover, whenever a player aims down sight with the High Alert Perk, it marks enemies, hostile equipment, and even scorestreaks on the mini-map. And the best part is that anything marked by High Alert Perk will also show up on an allied player’s mini-map, making it the perfect support perk.
