Some of the other issues with the newCall of Duty: Modern Warfareupdate that have been reported by fans include a weapon XP bug that makes it so weapons no longer level up, a glitch where players fall through the Spec Ops mission map, increased lag, and not all the thermal scopes being able to see through smoke. Some users have reported increased lag and generally poorer performance after downloading the update as well.

Again, we must stress that it’s unclear at this point just how widespread these issues are, so mileage may vary.Infinity Wardhas yet to comment on the new bugs and technical issues that have been reported byCall of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers, so it’s hard to gauge the scope of the problems.

In the meantime, someCall of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers have taken issue with the new update because they feel it doesn’t address some of the bigger complaints about the game. For example, it makes no mention of thecontroversial Skill Based Matchmaking systemthat’s supposedly in place, and it also doesn’t add fan-requested features like map voting. It’s clear that some players are disappointed by the newModern Warfareupdate, though others will be satisfied by Gun Game and the chance to try out the new Spec Ops content.

Infinity Ward has otherwise been quick to fix issues withCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, so fans should be able to expect a new patch to address this one’s problems sooner rather than later.
