With the arrival of the Lightfall DLC inDestiny 2, the Crucible saw a powerful and popular gun return from the first year of the game, the Autumn Wind Pulse Rifle. This weapon has already seen an abundance of usage since the launch of the expansion, and it’s safe to say it will continue to dominate the PvP scene for the foreseeable future.

How To Obtain The Autumn Wind Pulse Rifle
For the short and sweet answer, the Autumn Wind Pulse Rifle can be earned bycompleting Crucible matches. Regardless of the activity, win or lose, the weapon will drop at the end screen after a finished game. This also applies to Iron Banner or Trials of Osiris. In Season of Defiance, the Autumn Wind is currently the “featured” Crucible weapon for the season, meaning it has a higher drop rate chance than previous Crucible guns from past seasons.
That said, a player only needs to obtain the gun once because once they do, they can then focus for the weapon with Lord Shaxx back at the Tower. Using a Crucible Engram, Guardians can directly purchase the gun from Lord Shaxx in hopes of obtaining a specific roll they want. Crucible Engrams are earned each time the player increases their Crucible rank, which is done by completing matches, win or lose (though winning games will get them extra points!).
With the Autumn Wind acquired, it’s time to discuss what rolls players should be looking for.
What Is The God Roll For The Autumn Wind Pulse Rifle?
As the gun is obtainedfrom PvP activities, its best perks will heavily benefit the player in that playlist. That said, the weapon has an abundance of rolls to work with, so it can be used for both PvE and PvP activities.
For PvP, the God Roll players should be looking for is Rangefinder and Headseeker. Rangefinder grants a flat boost to range when the player aims down sights with the gun. On the other hand, Headseeker gives increased aim assist and precision damage after landing multiple body shots.

This combo gives the weapon an enormous advantage in one-on-one fights, as with a range stat that rivals most Scout Rifles and a perk that rewards players with hitting body shots; it’s no surprise the gun has a lot of usage thus far.
For PvE, Demolitionist and Adrenaline Junkie is by far the best pair to work with, especially in the current meta of Grenades. Demolitionist generates Grenade energy each time the player gets a kill with the gun, while Adrenaline Junkie gives a 20% boost in damage to the weapon after a Grenade kill.
The twoperks were practicallymade for one another, and having both on the same gun is a powerful option for PvE activities.
Overall, the Autumn Wind Pulse Rifle has quickly become a staple in the current meta of the Lightfall DLC, and it’s safe to say it will remain as such until it receives a nerf in some shape or form.
