Earlier this month, on May 4, Bungie released aDestiny 2: Season 14,Season of Splicer, roadmap that told fans what to expect from the update, but it only revealed some of the season’s content, leaving the rest as surprises for Guardians to discover. For instance, the map disclosed that Season of Splicer contained an epilogue event, but it didn’t provide any details about it, obviously to avoid spoilers. The event happens on August 10, and that’s the only thing fans know about it — until now.

Today, light.gg — the fan-madeDestinysite that acts as aDestinydatabase — updated itself to reveal the potential name of the epilogue event and the reward that goes along with it — all information that the site obtained through dataminingDestiny 2. More significant details about the quest remain a mystery, though, such as whether it will feature anotherDestiny 2live eventlike Season of the Chosen’s. That said, expectspoilers ahead.

According to light.gg, Bungie dubbed Splicer’s epilogue quest as “We are Enough.” What events the name reflects remain unclear at this time. However, the reward that’s seemingly tied to the We Are Enough Triumph is a little clearer. The reward is the tenth page - the last one - of “Beneath the Endless Night,” which is gradually being released page by page. “Beneath the Endless Night,” of course, symbolizes the fact that Season of Splicer sees the Last City plunged into a perpetual night by the Vex.

Going on just the name of the epilogue quest, it sounds like the Vex invasion will happen afterSeason of Splicer’s storyconcludes. “We are Enough” sounds like something someone would state in a situation where they can’t rely on backup, only themselves or whatever allies they have at the moment. In the context of the quest itself, it could mean that the Guardians and house and light will have to defend the Last City from the Vex invasion by themselves, even after halting the Vex’s simulation.

Naturally, it’ll be easier to predict what the quest has in store asDestiny 2’s Season 14 marches on toward August 10, but that time is still a long way off. Splicer only recently entered its second week of narrative content, so there are still practically two months to go before fans learn anything concrete. For now, the Guardians are still working with the Splicer Servitor of House Light to gather more data on the Vex and subsequently break the endless night.
