Destiny 2has had an interesting journey with many players enjoying the looter shooter and other wishing that Bungie stuck to more conventional first-person shooting games. Despite splitting opinionsDestiny 2has managed to cultivate a dedicated audience and has kept them entertained through frequent updates. With the anticipatedBeyond Light expansion arriving in less than a monthand set to introduce major changes to the current game, voice actor Lance Reddick who voices Zavala in the game continues to tease big things are on the way.
With the current in-game seasonextended beyond what Bungie had originally planned, the marketing for the expansion has also been dragged out a bit longer than intended. As such, players have attempted to fill in the gaps with new theories and speculation with any added piece of information furthering that effort. As the voice of Zavala, who also has a number of rumors surrounding his story in the upcoming expansion, Lance Reddick has managed to get players excited despite delivering “good” and “bad news.”

In a short video posted on Twitter, Reddick drew attention to hisDestinyt-shirt before delivering some bad news. Reddick confessed that he was not recording anyDestinycontent at that moment, but did reveal what he had been up to. The actor went on to note that they had been recording content forDestiny 2yesterday before describing the upcoming content, “The next iteration inDestinyis going to be off the chains.” This has excited fans and there seems to be plenty of anticipation for new content, although exactly what the actor has contributed and when it will arrive is not detailed in the video.
The Beyond Light expansionis set to be underway shortly and many will wonder whether the statement from Reddick is concerning this. While the positive note about the future of the may be about the upcoming content, the voice work is likely for a later expansion down the line. Nonetheless, fans will hope that the upcoming expansion is equally “off the chains” and many will look forward to what the new content has to offer as it is set to be present for some time.
Some responses noted that it is exciting to see an actor speak positively about an upcoming expansion and it will be interesting to see whether new content lives up to the statements made by Reddick.
