Diablo 4Season 3 brought a lot of dangerous and exciting new things to the world of Sanctuary. To begin new post-story challenges, players will need some Elemental Cores. Thanks to these rare items, players can challenge the new Herald of Malphas mini-bosses available as part of Arcane Tremors. The new challenges have a lot of similarities with theBlood Harvest event from Season 1, but the process for obtaining Elemental Cores is different from everything else.
First, players must find an active Arcane Tremors event, break through the attacking towers, and claim their reward. However, this is only the beginning of the journey you must go through in Season 3.
Where To Find Elemental Cores in Diablo 4
Before players can get Elemental Cores inDiablo 4, they must find anactive Arcane Tremors event.These events center around Arcane Vaults, newtypes of dangerous dungeons. To determine the active location of the invasion of mechanical constructs, look on the map for tower icons with a small green leaf icon.
Once you reach these new Obelisks,you will have to fight hordes of enemies. Your goal is to get as close to these structures as possible and touch them. The core problem in this task is the periodically expanding and contracting electric field around the Obelisk and projectiles flying in all directions from these structures. Approach the Obelisk while the electric field is narrowing or dodging projectiles and interact with it, after which you will temporarily disable this structure. After this, you will receiveElemental Cores, Shattered Stones,and other rewards.
There are several important points worth noting. Firstly, the rewards will not move to your inventory by disabling Obelisk. Players must collect them around the structure manually. However, it is not worth wasting time, since the recovery period of some Obelisks is relatively short, and it will be much more difficult for you to collect your rewards after the restoration of the electric field or infinite projectiles. But if the restoration time of Obelisks takes quite a long time, head to the next structure as soon as possible to accumulate as many valuable resources as possible in the time you have.
How To Use Elemental Cores in Diablo 4
After accumulating at least three Elemental Cores, players must search theBraziers. To activate Braziers, you will need3 Elemental Cores and 50 Shattered Stones, and the reward will be a battle with heralds of Malphas. Keep in mind that enhanced enemies are not your only problem. Like Obelisks, Braziers will fire a dense stream of projectiles that deal decent damage.
Thisbattle will be much more difficultthan the previous ones, but the rewards are worth the effort. First, players can get Pearls of Warding, an item you can use in Zoltun Statues to get stacks of Zoltun’s Warding inside Nightmare Vaults. Additionally, by completing these Vaults, you can farm Governing Stones, which are used to upgrade your Seneschal Construct pet.
