Blizzard Entertainment’s latest update to the belovedDiabloseries has introduced the Training Dummy inDiablo 4, a feature that is quickly becoming indispensable to players worldwide. As the heroes of Sanctuary steel themselves for the battles ahead, this innovative tool has emerged as a vital asset for testing and honing new builds and character abilities. Nestled within the fortified city of Kyovashad, The Training Grounds provide a safe haven where these dummies await, offering all adventurers–regardless of their level or progress in the game–a chance to prepare for the unspeakable evils that plague the world of Sanctuary.
Diablo 4’s Training Dummy is a practical instrument for combat readiness. Players can challenge themselves against dummies mirroring varying degrees of difficulty, from the common enemy to the most formidable bosses, andtailor their combat strategiesby configuring the dummies for single or multiple target engagements. The incorporation of this feature, marked by an interactable statute for difficulty adjustments, underscores the game’s innovative approach to allowing players to refine their skills amidst a controlled environment, far from the frenetic skirmishes of true combat. But just where can players find the training dummy?

Where to Find the Training Dummy in Diablo 4
To getstarted on their journeyto find the Training Dummy, players must first head to the city of Kyovashad. In this area, players will be able to locate the Training Grounds, which is located in the Northeast corner of the city. Once at the training grounds, simply head inside, as players of every level are able to enter to test out their combat prowess. Inside the Training Grounds, players will notice that there is a stash, a Training Dummy, as well as a statue.
This allows players to easily switch up their build via the stash without needing to leave the area. Once equipped with thegear from their desired build, players are free to begin attacking the Training Dummy. However, there is also a way that players can switch things up to even further refine their builds.

By interacting with the statue on the side of the Training Grounds, players will be able to bring up a menu that consists of 5 different types of Dummy.
The types of Training Dummy available are:
Each one of these dummy types allows players totest their builds in different scenarios, further allowing them to refine and hone their builds for a multitude of different situations. This also means players can choose to make a group of Elite enemies by selecting Elite Training Dummy first and then Multiple Training Dummy. This also goes for bosses, or even simply a group of normal enemies, to see how quickly a pack can be burst down.
