Cooking is one of the main mechanics inDisney Dreamlight Valley. Often players will need to make a variety ofmeals as an objectivefor the many quests that are currently in the game. Beyond quest objectives, recipes that players cook can also be used to restore energy that is consumed when certain actions are taken (like fishing, mining, gardening, etc).
Recipes vary in how many ingredients they require along withhow much energy they restore. While some recipes require five ingredients, many require three or fewer. A good example of this is Bell Pepper Puffs, and here is how players can make them.

How to Make Bell Pepper Puffs
Bell Pepper Puffs are a three-star Appetizer inDisney Dreamlight Valley. to cook this three-star recipe, players will need one Bell Pepper, one Egg, and one Cheese. While some recipes allow Disney Dreamlight Valley players to substitute ingredients, Bell Pepper Puffs are not one of those recipes. If players try to use anything but these three ingredients, they will end up with a different recipe all together.
The first ingredient, Bell Peppers, can only bepurchased from Goofy’s Stallin the Forest of Valor. When purchasing from Goofy,Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers have the option to either purchase the seeds or purchase the fully grown produce. It is recommended that players purchase seeds and grow them. Not only is it cheaper, but if players harvest while accompanied by a companion with the Gardening role, they can potentially double the amount of Bell Peppers they get for a mere fraction of the cost.
The second and third ingredients for Bell Pepper Puffs, eggs and cheese, are purchased from Remy’s restaurant. Cheese costs 180 Star Coins and Eggs cost 220 Star Coins each. Of course, in order to have the option to purchase these ingredients,Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers will first need to have completed the quest to bring Remy to the village. This quest involves traveling to Remy’s realm from within the castle. From there, players will need to complete a series of objectives thatculminates in making ratatouille.
How Much Energy is Restored by Bell Pepper Puffs?
Since Bell Pepper Puffs are a three-star recipe, they don’t restore as much as four or five-star recipes. That said, Bell Pepper Puffs restore 1,272 energy which is certainly not terrible but not as good as other three-starrecipes like Berry Salad.
Other Uses for Bell Pepper Puffs
Aside from restoring energy, Bell Pepper Puffs will occasionally show up as an order at Remy’s restaurant or as a daily favorite item for one of the many Disney characters that live in the village. In the screenshot above, Bell Pepper Puffs were one of Kristoff’s favorite items for the day. Giving a character their favorite items provides bonus experience towards their next level if they are not already at Level 10.
