Dreamswas released eight months ago for the PS4, and in that time, a cacophony of talented users have surfaced to create a wide variety of memorable experiences for others to enjoy within the world ofDreams. Now, the studio behindDreams, Media Molecule, has partnered with numerousDreamsusers to create a very special Halloween themed event within the game.
Over the last eight months, variousDreamsusers have populated the game with a wide variety of games, simulations, and virtual experiences for other players to enjoy. One talented user even managed to recreate theHaunted Mansion from Disneylandusing the assets featured inDreams. Though, now it seems that spooky aesthetic could come in handy in terms of what Media Molecule is doing for Halloween.

With Halloween rapidly approaching, Media Molecule, along with a cavalcade of talentedDreamsusers, have come together to create an all new Halloween themed event called ‘All Hallows Dreams.’ While the event likely won’t be as terrifying as some fan-madehorror games featured inDreams, the event will feature a number of various locations and activities for players to participate in.
The primary attraction is a haunted house that contains various rooms that house different user created levels for players to enjoy. Players will be allowed to travel through the rooms at their own pace so they will be able to experience each creation to its fullest extent. Perhaps one of the rooms will transport the player toThe Shining’sOverlook Hotelor some other iconic horror movie setting.
In addition to the haunted house, theDreamsevent will also feature a pumpkin patch that contains 3D modeled pumpkins that various players have carved and designed. Media Molecule has also given players the ability to attach theirPSN nameonto the pumpkin so that other players know who made it. Once again, the player will be able to go through the pumpkin patch at their own pace and admire the various designs on display.
Lastly, to help celebrate the season,Media Moleculehas also released Halloween themed Imps that players can select from to use as their avatar. Additions like these should further help players get into the spirit of the season. The All Hallows Dreams event began on October 15th and will come to a close at the end of Halloween, so players should log on and explore soon if they want to participate.
