7Carian Slicer
Fast-Slashing Melee Spell With High Damage
Carian Slicer has thehighest magic damageper FP ratio out of all other spells, making it this spell one of the highest DPS outputs in the game when properly optimized, although it comes with the cost of poise damage and flexibility of moveset. The spell conjures a magic sword and delivers a swift slash repeatedly.
This sorcery can be used with no delay after performing other actions. Carian Slicer can be parried like a melee attack and can be used like a melee weapon for running, jumping, rolling, and backstep attacks, as it has the same animation, but at a faster startup than a normal cast.

Charged Moon With Magic Defense Reduction
Ranni’s Dark Moon deals Magic damage, and will build Frostbite (270) on vulnerable enemies. One cast is normally all it takes to apply the Frost. In addition to frostbite, the sorcery also applies a debuff which reduces magic negation by 10% for 60 seconds.
If the spell triggers frostbite on the target, it reduces damage negation by more than 20%. The total damage negation reduction multiplicative stacks to 32%. Regardless of the target’s base negation. It will always increase magic damage by 10%. While it may have incredibly high damage, Ranni’s Dark Moon has a long casting animation and can be canceled if struckby a boss' attackbefore the projectile launches.
