Elden Ring’s dominance over the gaming industry this year remains unchecked, though many think the upcomingGod of War Ragnarokcould give theFromSoftware Souls titlea run for its money at The Game Awards. That’s still a few months away, of course, giving fans of the former plenty of time to delve into all aspects of the game.
Elden Ringmods are one way of doing just that, with fans creating tons of silly mods, restoration mods, and more over the past few months. One of the latest mods, interestingly enough, introduces theBloodbornegun parrying mechanic into the game, for anyone missing that exciting feel of firing a gun at just the right time.

TheElden RingGarden of Eyes mod, as seemingly first spotted by Eurogamer, adds a ton of features to the game, not the least of which is the gun parry. It essentially works in the same vein asBloodborne, with the mod adding the Soldier’s Pistol (which looks very much like the standardBloodbornepistol) and Tarnished Bullets to the game via crafting. Just likeBloodborne,it can be shot to counter enemy attacks from every minor and major enemy in the game. The Garden of Eyes mod intends to expand the available selection of guns over time. That in and of itself is a major selling point for the mod, but its ambitions don’t end there.
Furthermore, it adds the ability to use different horse skins by changing whistles, meaning players could summon and ride something like the Draconic Tree Sentinel horse instead of Torrent. Just like the guns, more will be added over time, and the mod adds new weapons that were cut from the game, such asMiquella’s twin blade. Overall, it’s a very ambitious mod and something many fans should keep an eye on. This mod is available via Garden of Eyes' Patreon pageHERE.
Of course, there are plenty ofElden Ringmods out there to fit someone’s fancy, but the ambition of this one is up there with theElden RingConvergence mod. It’s currently in the works by the same folks responsible for theDark Souls 3Convergence mod, which overhauled the game’s magic, introduced new classes and weapons, reimagined a variety of bosses, and balanced the entire game around these additions. It’ll be interesting to see what these modders add toElden Ring, but these ambitious mods are one reason modding communities are so beloved.
Elden Ringis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
