Morgan Freeman is renowned worldwide for his numerous performances and storied career, with many who adored his portrayal of God inBruce Almighty. The depiction is likely inspired by the film, where an unlucky TV reporter, played by Jim Carrey, decries God for this supposed injustice, who then bestows him with godly powers in an attempt to humble him. Freeman’s execution of the character is beloved, makingElden Ring’s pantheon of deitiesan appropriate place to insert him.

In a short video uploaded by u/DaddyWhoGames, there is a montage of screenshots capturing their interpretation of the great actor, donning nothing but the Cloth Garb and Cloth Trousers fromElden Ring’s litany of armor pieces. When casting Golden Order incantations, an incredibly apt choice, a GIF shows the Freeman role-play transition into wearing the Tree Sentinel armor set, making him extremely better protected for battle relative to his movie counterpart. The wings imposed behind him, representing those of an angel, are a welcome touch to the wholesome design.
