Filling the Light Meter Endless Ocean Luminous

What Does Drawing Tags Mean in Endless Ocean Luminous?

The Tag slot machine’s operation can be divided into two parts: the first involves filling the Light meter by collecting light from creatures you encounter by scanning them whendiving underwater, and the second involves Tagging creatures and salvage on the map.

To fill the light meter, you must scancreatures found underwaterthat are cloaked in a shroud of blue light. However, once the shroud of light is removed, you will no longer earn light points for scanning them, meaning you’ll need to scour your dive for unscanned creatures. All the light you collect will then go into the bar on the top left-hand side of the screen.

In addition to the light balls that combine to form the light meter, you will see a number to the far right, representing the number of players in your shared dive that are contributing to filling the light meter. When all divers collect a specific amount of light to fill the meter, the game will divide the accumulated reward points among the players and activate the Tag slot machine. When this happens, you’ll get an onscreen alert that says, “Light Gathered. Drawing tags…”

you may place up to ten Tags on your map at one time. The game will automatically delete any older Tags as you add new ones. You can earn new Tags as you interact with ones left by other players or by unlocking them with in-game currency. It’s recommended that you place your allotment of ten Tags using as many different ones as possible.

Points Earned For Filling the Light Meter in Endless Ocean Luminous

After you gather enough light, a random roll of Tags appears in the top left corner of the screen. The more players you have in a dive, the more reels will be spun, increasing your chances to match a Tag. This process provides you with additional points based on the Tags rolled in the slot machine versus the number of the same Tags placed on the map. Since you want to increase your odds of matching the Tags rolled in the slot machine, you want to put as many different types of Tags on the map as possible. The more Tags used on your map, the more points you earn.

To see how many points you earned, press the X button on the map menu and then use the R button to navigate to the All section. This menu will show you the in-game event text, including the base points you earned for filling the light meter and any additional points based on matching Tags rolled in the slot machine. You can continue to repeat this inEndless Ocean Luminous,aSwitch exclusive game, process until you have scanned all the creatures and uncovered all the salvage in this dive.
