Blinking through time to battle seemingly endless waves of dinosaurs, Capcom’sExoprimaldrops players into a role-based PvPvE experience requiring teamwork and coordination to complete mission objectives faster than the opposing team.
A successful team will want at least one tank Exosuit to soak up incoming damage, such as theRoadblock Exosuit. A large-fisted behemoth with an enormous health pool, Roadblock excels at pulling enemy focus and hindering enemy movement to create opportunities for their allies in the Assault role to deal massive amounts of damage.

Roadblock Abilities and Stats
As the name suggests, the Roadblock Exosuit is built to halt the incoming swarm of dinosaurs players face inExoprimal. Roadblock excels in close ranges, using the Haymaker swing to pound through enemies, while Ballistic Wall can hold large enemiesin place while allowing friendly fire through the barrier. Roadblock also has a taunt ability that will draw the focus of enemies in front of players, distracting them from the squishier Exosuits on the team.

Best Modules and Rigs for Roadblock
While this Exosuit can easily sustain large amounts of damage, Roadblock lacks consistent mobility, making it hard to chase down skittish targets. The catapult Rig is a great solution to this lack of mobility and can give Roadblock an edge when it comes to tracking down an escaping Triceratops or quickly maneuvering through mission objectives. Players may also opt for the aid or shield rig if the team is low on support Exosuits or simply need the additional defensive bonus.
When selecting modules, players will want to focus on stacking Roadblock with defensive and movement-hindering capabilities. The Stun Blast module is an exceptional choice, as it significantly increases the effectiveness of Shield Blast when attempting to lock down larger dinosaur targets.
The added stun from this module can lock a Triceratops or Carnotaurus in place while the damage dealers of the team reduce the dinosaur’s health to zero. The impact reduction module works hand in hand with this play style, reducing knockback effectiveness on Roadblock and preventing the dinosaurs from creating an opening to rampage on the weaker Exosuits.
Tips for Playing Roadblock
Roadblock is all about getting in the face of the enemies and providing the team with a front line of defense and offense. Players will want to focus on positioning and thinking ahead during mission objectives when new spawn points form or in the case of moving objectives. Since Roadblock moves so slowly, being out of position for even a moment can cost the life of a team member or objective. Ballistic Shield is strong enough to block heavy knockbacks from large dinosaurs, including the charge from a Triceratops; proper timing and positioning are crucial to maximize Roadblocks shielding potential.
Roadblock players will also want to become familiar with the crafting component of the game, as being able to quickly create additional walls will increase Roadblock’s effectiveness at controlling and stopping enemy movement. Crafted walls combined with Ballistic Shield can create an impassable window of death when covered by assault role allies.
Remember to stay in front of your team and push the dinosaurs back with Shield Blast. If the situation gets too perilous, unleash Storm Drive to knock all foes away.
