Phoenix Labs' upcoming cozy RPGFae Farmhas captured the interest of many gamers. Riding the wave of ‘cozy games’ that have seen great popularity in recent years, the game has made many promises - combat, farming, and cooperative gameplay, to name just three. Fans have compared it toStardew Valleywith a more ‘magical twist,’ and if it can deliver on the excitement shown in its trailers, players are in for a good time when it launches on September 8th, 2023.

Like many games,Fae Farmoffers players the choice between a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition. The latter offers some additional content for a higher price tag, and players wanting to make an informed purchase should read on to find out what they provide.
Fae Farm Standard Edition
The standard edition ofFae Farmcontains the game itself.Players who pre-orderthis edition will also receive a few noteworthy bonuses, but this cheaper option is as straightforward as they come. It’s worth noting that standard edition playerswillstill be able to play with their friends via the game’s 1-to-4-player co-op.
Fae Farm Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition of the game has a few bonuses on top of providing the game itself. Pre-ordering this edition will give players the same rewards as the standard edition, but on top of the game itself, players will also be treated to some exciting bonuses. The first is the game’s soundtrack - cozy games likeFae Farmoften put a lot of effort intocomplimenting their gameplay with soothing music, so it’s certain to be a playlist worth having. Store pages mention over an hour of compositions by Cris Velasco, a musician notable for his work onOverwatchandGod Of War 3, among many others.
The second (and third) bonuses are two yet-to-be-released downloadable content packs. Store pages make it clear that these will be released ‘between December 2023 and June 2024,’ so while players may need to wait a while to get their hands on these bonuses, they’ll be free for them upon their release.
