It’s a good time to be a video game cat lover.Fall Guysjust announced that Pusheen and Pusheenicorn skins will be available for a limited time, from July 14th to July 18th.
Fall Guyshas been doing well for itself lately, due to its move to a free-to-play structure and the game being available on more platforms. The team at Mediatonic has been hard at work, taking advantage of the momentum with new events and content.

Fresh off the heels of a crossover withAssassin’s Creed, a certain exceptionally round cat will be taking the stage alongsideFall Guys’exceptionally round beans. Players will need an investment to play with these skins, however.
Buying The Pusheen and Pusheenicorn Skins
As a service game,Fall Guyshas been no stranger to crossover events. They have been happening more frequently in recent months, however. With the shift to Free to Play, the game will need more limited-time premium content to keep itself growing.
In this case, it seems that theonly way to get the Pusheen and Pusheenicorn skins will be to pay for them using Show Bucks,Fall Guys' premium currency. The pack will include both skins alongside a special emote and willcost 1600 show bucks. Buying two 1000 Show Buck packs will run a player around $15.99 USD.
Previous events had special modes that let players earn some of the cosmetic items for free, but at the time of writing, there’s no evidence of any Pusheen-inspired game modes incoming. This pack will be a store exclusive.
There is a way to get show bucks by playing, but it’s not free.Fall Guys' premium battle passincludes packs of Show Bucks as part of its rewards. It’s not exactly a bargain, however. Aside from costing money, the maximum amount of Show Bucks a player can earn through the battle pass is 1500, so they’ll still need to make a separate purchase to cover the last 100 Bucks.
It’s clear that the game is experiencing some growing pains right now. Players have been complaining about prices and reward rates, and Mediatonic needs to find a better balance between monetization and fairness in the future. Still, in the meantime, these high-profile crossovers are a good sign for the game’s longevity.
