As a prototype, Power Armor, X-01 is a protective suit inFallout 76made by the remnants of the US military. It is not as fine-tuned as the T-Series. How to Get X-01 Prototype Power Armor in Fallout 76
To get the X-01 Power Armor, join Enclave and rank up to General. Then, enterthe Enclave BunkerArmory, interact with the Archival Terminal, and download the X-01 plans from the Prototype Power Armor Schematics. Finally, assemble all six pieces in a Power Armor Station for a functional X-01.
Here’s the step-by-step guide:
Join the Enclave
Enclave is one of the 35 Factions inFallout 76with a private recruiting system. But to get the X-01 plans, players mustjoin this military Faction first.For that, enter the Abandoned Waste Dump on the far east side of the map, complete the Bunker Buster quest inside, and then get the One of Us mission done in the Enclave Bunker.
There aretwo Deathclaws in the Abandoned Waste Dump. Avoid them by sneaking into the elevator.
Become an Enclave General
A General is the highest rank in the Enclave Faction and has access to the Armory wing, where classified X-01 documents are kept. To become one, players must first beat the Office on Deck quest at Camp McClintock and then earn 10 Commendations.
Commendations are badges given as rewards for completing specific challenges. And there are four methods for earning them: Killing Legendary creatures, completing Extermination Operations, Robot Patrol missions, and Resource Drop tasks.
After becoming a General, head to the Enclave Terminal near the Whitespring resort and visit the Armory wing. (It’s next to the Command section.) Here, turn on the Archival Terminal and enter these commands:
The Archival Terminal transfers the X-01 plans to the inventory so players canbuild the Power Armor in a Station.
How to Craft the X-01 PA
Once the plans are acquired, go to a Power Armor Station and craft an X-01 with Aluminum, Copper, Gear, Glass, Oil, Circuitry, Rubber, Screw, Silver, Steel, Spring, Nuclear Material, and Black Titanium. But note that only players Level 40 or above can craft a functional X-01 Power Armor.

How to Get the X-01 Power Armor Mods
X-01 PA mods aresold at the Enclave Bunker. To get them, interact with a MODUS Production Terminal, open the Notes tab, and pay the price in Caps to acquire the modification plans. The best mods to buy for X-01 are Targeting HUD, Internal Database, Jet Pack, Emergency Protocols, and Calibrated Shocks.
