Known for hisFortniteandClash Royalevideos on YouTube, Flakes Power is now going to be part of the extensive number of skins that rotate through the Item Shop. Back in Chapter 1 Season 7,Epic Games added the first Icon Series skin to the gameand it was a success. Marshmello debuted this new tag after he also performed the first in-game concert inFortnite. This was something completely different from what had ever been done before, and soon after, fans only wanted more, so they could get tons of skins of their favorite celebrities.
Since then, various music artists have made their way into the world ofFortnite. Not only big names in the music industry but also known streamers. Although it was something completely different, it definitely appealed to the fans as well, since they could have their characters look exactly like their favoriteFortniteplayers.Players can now acquire skins of streamers such as SypherPK,Ninja, Chica, and many others.

According to Epic Games in its latest blog post, the Icon Series skins list is about to increase. Flakes Power, aFortniteYouTuber, is joining the pool of content creators available in the game. Community leakers such as iFireMonkey had hinted at the release of this skin, and the confirmation of a previously rumored subject created hope for some fans that aCreedcollab might be coming toFortnitesoon. The Flakes Power skin is going to be available for the first time February 25 at 7 PM ET, once the Item Shop resets.
This newFortniteskin comes with the Electro-Crest back bling and an additional style, Phantom Power, that it can switch into if the player decides to use the built-in Get Flakey emote. Players will be able to obtain the Electric Crescents harvesting tool, but it’s unknown if there will be a Flakes Power bundle or if they will have to purchase it separately. In the announcement post, it is noted that the back bling is included with the skin, but there is no mention of the harvesting tool.
Since it’s an Icon Series rarity skin, it is likely that it will either cost between 1,500 and 1,800 V-Bucks. Fans that are low on V-Bucks but are considering getting this skin might want to look into obtaining theFortniteCrew Pack for the month of February/March – this will grant them the chance tounlock the limited-time Masterwork Pickaxe.
