For those who may not know who Pokimane is, she is a major variety streamer on Twitch who has gained widespread popularity over the course of the year.Pokimane recently signed a multi-year exclusivity deal with Twitch, solidifying her relationship and position with the platform. While Pokimane plays a variety of different games on her channel, she has been known to playFortniteon stream fairly often.
However, Pokimane has yet to have an official skin implemented into the game like other massive Twitch streamer.Fortniteadds plenty of skins to the game every season, like the recentAquaman skin players can now unlock in-game. Yet, fans have made concept designs for Pokimane’s potentialFortniteskin, and they’ve been really impressive. Now, one fan has created an in-game render of a custom made skin for her.
Pokimane showed her reaction to the in-game render in an uploaded YouTube video just yesterday. The streamer was blown away by the design, specifically with how accurately the artist rendered her hair and merchandise. While Pokimane admitted she doesn’t playFortniteas much as she used to, she would happily return to the game to use the custom skin whenever she did. It seems like Pokimane isn’t the only streamer to be dropping off ofFortnite, as apparently many streamers areditching it forWarzoneand other multiplayer gamesof late.
While Pokimane has been exploding in popularity on social media platforms, it seems that not all the publicity the streamer has been getting is strictly positive.Pokimane was recently trending on Twitterafter another influencer tweeted about her appearance. Pokimane has spoken out in the past about large amount of hate she gets online for her content and appearance. Regardless, the numbers in Pokimane’s case don’t lie, as she clearly has a large following who support her.
