The Week 8 quests forFortnite’s current season have arrived, offering players a fresh set of challenges to complete in exchange for large amounts of XP. A few of the island’s denizens apparently know or have seen too much, as one of the new quests tasks players withmindwiping either Bunker Jonesy, Swamp Stalker, or Human Bill.
The enduringly popular battle royale title from Epic Games is now in the second half of Season 8 of its Chapter 2. The alien invasion-themed season has seen the extraterrestrial presence steadily grow over the course of the past few weeks, with the game’s latest update recently addingan ominous countdown clockabove The Aftermath,Fortnite’s central location.

How to Mindwipe Bunker Jonesy, Swamp Stalker, or Human Bill in Fortnite
As mentioned previously, one part of the Week 8 Legendary quest requires players to erase the memories of one of three NPCs: Bunker Jonesy, Swamp Stalker, or Human Bill. Bunker Jonesy, believed to be the “original” Jonesy ofFortnite, can usually be found in the cliffside cabin on the southern coast of the island, just south of the Apres Ski Lodge POI.
However, Bunker Jonesy is known to spawn at different locations and might not be there. In that case, players can track down Swamp Stalker or Human Bill, both of which are guaranteed to be found in a single location on the map.
Swamp Stalker, as the name implies, is located near Slurpy Swamp. Players will need to head to a shack on the southern edge of the area south of Slurpy, just east of the IO Satellite Station. Lastly,the Human Bill NPCis located in building 5 of Steamy Stacks, the most northeastern building within the most northeastern named location.
Head to the top floor to find them. Once players approach any one of the three NPCs, all that needs to be done is to interact with them. By selecting the three-dot speech bubble option, the player will pull out and use a mindwiping device akin toMen in Black’s Neuralyzer, causing humorous dialogue.
Mindwiping one ofFortnite’s NPCs is the fifth part of Week 8’s six-stage Legendary quest, meaning players will need to make sure all prior stages are completed before attempting to mindwipe someone. While the game is clearly furthering its plot with the return of the Abductors and the addition of the mysterious countdown clock,Fortniteis also continuing its trend of brand collaboration, adding the Ferrari 296 GTB as its latest in-game vehicle. Epic Games appear to be gearing up for more crossovers again, recently sending out asurvey for futureFortnitecollaborations.
Players who complete this quest will be rewarded with 30,000 XP. Those who’ve managed to knock out the current list of quests can try getting their hand onthe new Plasma Cannon, which may be one ofFortnite’s most powerful weapons ever.
