The jungle biome brought many new gameplay features toFortnitewhen it was first introduced. Hop Flower Locations
Hop Flowers are exclusive to the jungle biome, which means players won’t be able to find them in the snow biome, in the grass fields, in the medieval POIs, or in the Japanese-inspired areas of the Battle Royale map.
There are only threejungle POIs inFortnite: Creeky Compound, Rumble Ruins, and Shady Stilts. Although there are Hop Flowers in these named locations, they’re even more abundant in the surrounding areas due to the overgrown nature of the jungle.Players can usually find Hop Flowers near cliffs and tall trees in the jungle.
How Hop Flower Work
Hop Flowers, just as their name implies, are powered by the same substance asChapter 1’s Hop Rocks.Players can jump on the bright yellow bulb if they’d like to be projected high in the air. Thankfully,they will not suffer any fall damage from doing thissince they will be under the Hop Rock effect up until their feet finally touch the ground, making them immune to fall damage whenever they use a Hop Flower.
The jungle has extremely tall trees that can be difficult to descend, so when players find themselves on top of one without a way of coming down, they should always look for a Hop Flower on top of the tree or any other accessible nearby tree.It’s not unusual for Hop Flowers to grow on top of the trees found in the jungle; this is a great way to come down without suffering any fall damage.
Using Hop Flowers is particularly useful in the Zero Build game mode. Since players can’t build in this mode, it can be hard to reach certain areas or to come down, especially if the storm is closing in.
