Xbox Game Passhas often been hailed as the best deal in gaming, even during its dry periods. With the delay ofStarfield, many may not be as confident about the games they’ll get later this year as they were before. This could very well change at theXbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on June 12, but it’s uncertain if either company has something up its sleeves for the fall season.
Still, newXbox Game Pass reveals will take place at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, and fans will just have to wait and see what they are. In the meantime, they have plenty of games to check out today and more coming later this month.

Today, May 24,Game Passis adding two new titles. Cloud, Console, and PC Game Pass users will have access toFloppy Knights, whileHardspace: Shipbreakerwill be available to PC users. The former is a genre-bending tactical turn-based game with card mechanics, where different decks can be assembled to perfect a player’s strategy.Hardspace, meanwhile, is a physics sim set in space where players must deconstruct spacecraft in order to pay back an enormous debt.
There aren’t enough reviews out there about either game to warrant a Metacritic score—not yet anyway—but those that have come in are incredibly promising for both. At the very least,Game Pass users will be able to check out both gamesat their leisure, and that’s the beauty of Game Pass—trying games someone wouldn’t normally try. After all, if someone likes them, then it has done its job. If someone doesn’t, they know more are inbound.
Sniper Elite 5hits Game Passon consoles and PC on May 26, whileCricket 22(for PC) andPac-Man Museum+(all platforms) will release on May 27. It wouldn’t be surprising to see another game or two added at the last second, especially as more announcements are likely to come on May 30 or May 31 for June 2022.
After all, new Game Pass titles will be added before the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, andXbox Game Pass has confirmed some June 2022 games. These includeFor Honor: Marching Fire Edition, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Shadowrun Trilogy, andEscape Academy. It seems like June is off to a good start, and more will be revealed in the coming week or so.
