Back to All Characters
While one of the first characters from Fontaine to be ever introduced in story to Adventurers through their journey in Teyvat, Charlotte has made her debut inGenshin Impactwith the 4.2 version update, alongside the arrival of Furina. Players who have eagerly awaited Charlotte’s addition to the roster will be pleased to find that she brings a diverse array of functions to the game, along with unique abilities that enable creative combat interactions, such as taking pictures mid-combat with her skill held.
In combat, Charlotte excels in two primary roles: sub-DPS with her Elemental Skill and healer with her Elemental Burst. However, this dual role may leave some players wondering how to best build her. Sub-DPS and healer builds typically require different artifacts and weapons, making it essential to find a balance that suits players' party’s needs. Ultimately, players can decide what works best for them, but a versatile support buildthat can effectively fulfill both roles will be the key focus when building Charlotte inGenshin Impact. As both aspects of her kit scale with ATK however, there are some options that combine well for multiple roles she can take.

Charlotte Best Artifact In Genshin Impact
However, for those seeking a versatile support character capable of fulfilling multiple roles, the4-piece Noblesse Obligeset is a solid choice. This set is one of thebest standard support artifact setsinGenshin Impactand can enhance Charlotte’s Elemental Burst damage which is available alongside her team-wide healing. Additionally, the 4-piece set bonus provides an ATK buff to Charlotte and her entire team. This is particularly valuable when Charlotte is teamed up with characters who scale with ATK-based damage modifiers, such as Wriothesley. Tenacity of the Millelith set can also be a good option, especially if players team includes acharacter that can provide shields.
On the other hand, if players plan to rely more on Charlotte’s Elemental Skill and sub-DPS capabilities in a perma-freeze team, a full set ofBlizzard Strayermay be the way to go. It is possible to also consider a combination of the Gladiator’s Finale and Blizzard Strayer sets for non-freeze team compositions, which will boost Charlotte’s ATK and enhance her damage and healing potential. For a full healer build, players can opt for either a4-piece Ocean-Hued Clamset or mix this set with the Gladiator’s Finale set to increase her ATK values. However, for both healing and sub-DPS builds, it’s recommended to focus on 4-piece set bonuses especially if players already have sufficient ATK% stats from weapons or artifact main and sub-stats.

The choice of main and sub-stats on Charlotte’s artifacts once again largely depends on how players plan to utilize her. For all-around versatile support, prioritizing Energy Recharge and ATK main stats is generally beneficial, especially when complemented by the same stats also being included as sub-stats whenever applicable. If players on the other hand intend to use Charlotte primarily as a healer, it is also possible to switch theATK Circlet for a Healing Bonus Circlet, while keeping Energy Recharge and ATK as sub-stats again. For a sub-DPS build however, players may want to take a different approach to increase her DMG potential only. In order to do so, players can equip Charlotte with aCryo Goblet, an ATK Sands, and a Crit Rate or Crit Damage Circlet, with these stats mainly focused on the sub-stats as well. However, building Charlotte in this way may require more investment in terms of time and resources and could limit her versatility. This means, that opting for all-around main and sub-stats will still be a more straightforward and versatile choice that suits many players.
Charlotte Best Weapon In Genshin Impact
When selecting a weapon for Charlotte, it’s also essential to consider what role she will be primarily taking in the team composition. For an all-around versatile support, weapons with an ATK% sub-stat or those that provide Energy Recharge with useful effects can be excellent choices. Fortunately,Genshin Impactoffers awide range of suitable catalyststhat match these criteria.
The best option, in this case, would be theSkyward Atlas, thanks to its high ATK% modifier, while also increasing her Elemental DMG with the first part of this weapon’s effect. On the other hand, the secondary effect of this weapon may not be as applicable, since she won’t be relying on her normal attacks often as a sub-DPS character. Alternatively,Memory of Dustis also excellent when it comes to providing a huge ATK bonus; however, it is best suited for Charlotte if the team already includes a character that can provide a shield for the team.

As for the 4-star options, players can choose between Favonius Codex, Oathsworn Eye, or Flowing Purity.Favonius Codex, in particular, can helpCharlotte get some battery utility; however, players will need to invest in her Crit Rate, which may not be ideal for every situation. Nevertheless, it will also increase her energy recharge, allowing her to utilize her burst more consistently. Another option that can work very well for Charlotte is the event-limitedOathsworn Eye, which not only provides ATK% as its secondary stat but also Energy Recharge through its passive effect. This, combined with it being a F2P weapon, can allow players to have the most optimal F2P Charlotte if they are seeking an all-around and easy build for her.Flowing Purityis another F2P option that can suit Charlotte, albeit it’s a bit more DPS-oriented since it, once again like Skyward Atlas, focuses on providing All Elemental DMG Bonus.
Lastly, those looking for a buff weapon, can considerThrilling Tales Of Dragon Slayersto buff the party’s ATK, even though this weapon’s HP% secondary stat may not be particularly useful for Charlotte beyond helping with her survivability. For those looking for pure-DPS weapons, on the other hand, a considerable option could beKagura’s Verityon her instead. However, like how the pure DPS artifacts take away from her general versatility, this will do so as well, so it is not entirely recommended unless players are looking for quite unique playstyles or challenges specifically.
