AGenshin Impactfan has created an interesting concept that shows Ei and Makoto before the infamous cataclysm event. These two characters play a crucial role in one of Teyvat’s seven major regions named Inazuma which arrived to the game back in version 2.0.
Just like any other region, Inazuma has its own respective Archon who plays the role of the nation’s main protector. Raiden Makoto also known as Baal was the original Electro Archon. EachGenshin Impactregion also has a representative element and divine ideal with eternity being the symbol of Makoto’s reign over Inazuma.

Raiden Makoto and Ei were the twin gods that lived during the infamous Archon War in the Inazuma region. Even though Makoto was watching over the Electro nation, Ei was known as a more respected warrior than her far sister who had a much more peaceful personality. Ei knew that Makoto would be a much better ruler for the Inazuma region which is why she sacrificed her body so Makoto could ascend to Celestia and becomeone of the SevenGenshin ImpactArchons. A Reddit user named sei6kk has shared an interesting concept that Makoto and Ei before the events of the Archon War. Fans seem to love the fan-art as the post reached over 3.6k upvotes on the game’s official subreddit with multiple comments praising sei6kk’s approach to shadowing and how everything blends in together.
After Makoto became one of The Seven, she recreated her sister and made Ei her body double and both of them ruled over Inazuma jointly. A lot of fans hope that HoYoverse could introduce a time-travel mechanic to the game in the future that would allow Travelers to go back in time and experience some of the mosticonic moments like the Archon Warand meet legendary characters like Makoto or the Yaksha.
When it comes to Raiden Shogun’s power on the field, she is widely considered to be one of thestrongest characters inGenshin Impactsince her kit allows her to fit in almost any team composition in the game that requires an Electro character. One of her greatest assets is the fact that she’s very free-to-play friendly since she doesn’t require too many resources.
The image also shows Makoto holding Yae Miko who is known as a kitsune and one of their oldest friends. Yae is part of the playable roster and the recent live stream event revealed that she will be featured on a banner in the upcomingGenshin Impactversion 3.7.
