Genshin Impacthas officially confirmed which five-star characters will be featured on the upcoming limited banners for update 3.7. Even though version 3.7 will not launch until May 24, developer HoYoverse has hosted a new Special Program that revealed most of the upcoming content.
TheGenshin Impactlive stream event also confirmed the arrival of a new Dendro character named Kirara. She will be a new four-star unit that specializes in utility and providing AoE Dendro damage. Her official bio has revealed that Kirara works for the Komaniya Express, a popular delivery company in the Inazuma region.

The recently held Special Program event has confirmed thatGenshin Impactversion 3.7will feature four re-runs. According to the live stream, the next update will feature the following five-star characters Yoimiya, Yae Miko, Kazuha, and Alhaitham. Yoimiya and Yae will be placed on the first banner cycle which will feature Kirara in their four-star lineup. Yoimiya is a powerful Pyro bow character whose primary role is main DPS, but she can also be placed in the sub-DPS position if players build around her Elemental Burst. She is one of the few characters that specializes in single-target damage which makes her a great choice when fighting against weekly bosses.
Yae Miko is one of the bestElectro characters inGenshin Impactat the moment. Even though she can dish out tons of damage, Yae Miko is often used as an off-field DPS since her totems stay on the ground even when she leaves the field. This makes her a great pick for several different AFK team compositions that are mostly used in the overworld part of the game.
Many fans are surprised to see Alhaitham being featured on a banner considering that his last banner appearance was a couple of months ago back in update 3.4. He is probably thebest DPS character inGenshin Impactthat uses the Dendro element and the recent addition of Baizhu could improve his place in the current character meta by allowing him to fit in more party types.
Fans seem to be most excited about Kaedehara Kazuha who has been the best Anemo support in the game since his release. His ability to apply crowd control effects, shred enemies' resistances, and buff the party’s overall damage output cannot be matched byany other Anemo character inGenshin Impactat the moment.
Genshin Impactis available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, and a Switch port is also in development.
