After arriving in Petrichor,Genshin Impactplayers may be disappointed at the island’s sheer size. However, upon starting the main quest and meeting a peculiar cat, Travelers will soon find that Petrichor is not as small as it makes it out to be.
In fact, Petrichor hides two areas, the elusive Faded Castle, and the legendary Remuria. Before players can fully access these two places, however, they must first complete the required quests in theCanticles of Harmonyseries. Among the many tasks Travelers must complete, one of them is totake the Blank Scorein the Underwater Nocturne quest inGenshin Impact.
How To Take The Blank Score In Genshin Impact
To take the BlankScore inGenshin Impact, players must play the Autoharmonic Reed Pipes so that the soundboard points to the correct note. To move the soundboard, useThe Might of the Ancient Symphonyby switching the character’s Skill with the special music ability. On mobile, players simply need to press the small button, whereas on PC, this can be done by pressingT.
After switching to the Ancient Symphony,hold the Skill button (E)to move the slider to the correct musical note.
The correct note can be seen on the wall behind the Autoharmonic Reed Pipe. The first (left) instrument must point to the middle, whereas the second AutoharmonicReed Pipe inGenshin Impactneeds to be on the third note.
The Town Of Petrichor
On their journey throughout Teyvat, players will befriend and become acquainted with plenty of people of different backgrounds, whether it’s a government entity, a scholar, an artist, or the Archon themselves. Among these many people is the researcher and filmmaker, Xavier. Players first meet him in Inazuma, where he plays a massive role inallowing access to the Mikage Furnacein the Tatara Tales World Quest.
Despite Travelers first meeting him in Inazuma, Xavier actually comes from Fontaine; from Petrichor, to be exact. For many versions, this small town is merely a name, but inGenshin Impact4.6, players gain the opportunity to visit Petrichor and finally understand whyit’s known for its elegant scenery.
Although it’s considered a part of Fontaine, this small town is located far from the mainland of Fontaine, to the extent that its waters can’t be explored like the other parts of the Land of Justice. Nevertheless, if players do choose to venture deeper into the history buried beneath Petrichor, they’ll find that the small town hides a massive, literal civilization, underneath.
Even without traveling to the center of the earth, players can see evidence of the said civilizations from the many ruins and stone statues throughout the island. The stone statues are related to Remuria, an ancient civilization dating back long duringthe previous Hydro Archon’s, Egeria’s, time. It’s said that Remuria was made by the God King, Remus.
