A new leak fromGenshin Impacthas revealed the full lineup of enemies set to be featured in the Spiral Abyss rotation for Version 3.8. Since the game’s launch, the Spiral Abyss has served as one of the popular HoYoverse RPG’s main forms of endgame content, pitting players against powerful enemies with unique buffs. The dungeon featuresa rotating lineup of enemieswith each new update to the game, often featuring newly added enemies and including boss monsters on the highest floors. Now, leaks are teasing the next update for the Abyss.
Genshin Impact’s endgame content has been the subject of significant criticism from the game’s passionate fanbase over its more than two-year lifespan. Many fans have clamored for more endgame content for the popular RPG, giving players the incentive to min-max their characters and build powerful teams. However, HoYoverse has made official statements revealing it does not intend to focus on endgame content for the game in the near future, citing “player anxiety” as its key reason. Now, the game’s biggest piece of endgame content is set to feature a new lineup of enemies.

A new chart posted by trustedGenshin Impactleaker Bebe has revealed the slew of enemies set to appear inthe Spiral Abyss during Version 3.8. The first half of Floor 11 will feature a mix of old and new enemies with the first chamberspopulated by Ruin machines, Hilichurls, and finished by Abyss Lectors. The second half of the floor will pit players against a variety of humanoid enemies with Inazuma’s Kairagi and Nobushi featured, as well as Eremite enemies in the third chamber. Floor 11’s primary buff will grant the player 75% increased Physical damage.
The top floor of the Abyss will feature several Elite enemies and bosses awaiting players challenging Floor 12. The first half of Floor 12 features multiple Riftwolf enemies in its early stages, while mixing Eremite elite enemies and Black Serpent Knights with Fatui enemies like the Pyroslinger and Mirror Maiden in later chambers. The main bosses featured in the Spiral Abyss' top floor are theSumeru desert’s Matrix world bossand Enkanomiya’s Bathysmal Vishap Herd as the final enemy in Version 3.8’s Spiral Abyss.
Much like previous cycles of the Spiral Abyss, leaks suggest the new lineup will benefit players looking to run Version 3.8’s featured characters. Floor 11’s physical damage buff aligns withthe heavily rumored Eula re-runbelieved to be coming during Version 3.8. Floor 12 may also benefit players looking to utilize Bloom-focused team compositions with Dendro reactions acting as an effective counter to the Matrix boss. While HoYoverse may not have immediate plans for future endgame content, the Spiral Abyss maintains its position forGenshin Impact’s most hardened players.
