Summary
A recentGenshin Impactleak has revealed a new Fontaine-based creature that will arrive in version 4.2 next month. Since the release of version 4.1, leaks pertaining to the next patch have already been released, with one indicating that the lineup of enemies will be expanded with new bosses. One of the major revelations from these leaks is that Childe’s whale, which he encountered in his Abyssal dreams, will be added to the weekly boss rotation in version 4.2. Also, the upcoming update will bring new elemental enemies to the Spiral Abyss, including Rifthounds and Abyss Mages.
Genshin Impactversion 4.1expanded the water-themed Fontaine into a new region, which plays host to characters, events, and quests. The update also introduced players to new bosses, Millenial Pearl Seahorse and Experimental Field Generator, which have their unique attack pattern. Millennial Pearl Seahorse lives in an underwater cave where it summons Resonant Coral Orbs to prepare for a heavy attack. The creature bears an uncanny resemblance to seahorses, with its giant tail and horn making it look like a unicorn. Experimental Field Generator, on the flip side, can be pretty hard to beat with a random team, as its Pneuma-aligned attacks deal a certain amount of damage.

As per a recentGenshin Impactleak from himo_sino, version 4.2 will introduce a brand-new creature based in the Fontaine region, which seems to be made up of Hydro energy. The leak doesn’t provide any information about its status, which means it can either be a friendly mob or a regular enemy. This mysterious beast has a chroma-themed designand several tentacles, which make it look like a jellyfish. There is also a glowing icon above its head, which hints that it will be a friendly creature that helps players finish a quest or puzzle in the Fontaine region.
Genshin Impact’s mesmerizing world is home to different kinds of creatures from Angelic Sea Hares and Sternshield Crabs to Grounded Geoshrooms. Players can use theirOmni-Ubiquity Net gadgetto capture some of these mobs, including loaches, horned lizards, and weasels. It’s worth noting that players mostly encounter hostile creatures in the wild, which drop valuable rewards after being killed.
There is plenty for players to look forward to in version 4.2, including new events, weapons, and banners. If current leaks turn out to be true,Genshin Impactwill expand the lineup of characters with the Hydro Archon Furinaand five-star Cryo catalyst user Charlotte. The developers will likely provide more information about the upcoming update very soon.
