As beta testing for Version 4.6 continues, it would seem thatGenshin Impactwill be receiving numerous quality-of-life features in the upcoming patch. Though Fontaine has added its fair share of memorable characters to theGenshin Impactcast, and it has introduced new features such as underwater exploration, it could be argued that its evergreen quality-of-life changes have been a highlight in and of itself.
Whereas many of its additions are tied to the gacha system or restricted to the region, thequality-of-life changes introduced toGenshin Impactduring the Fontaine patch cycle can be enjoyed by anyone. Artifact management had long been considered a grueling affair in Genshin Impact – at least, until the process was streamlined in Version 4.3. On the other hand, Version 4.6 is set to improve another tedious aspect of the game, one that may not necessarily be tied to combat, but does have its fair share of fans all the same.
Housing Will Get Significantly Easier in Genshin Impact Version 4.6
According torecent leaks from the Version 4.6 betacompiled by laine4466, the new update will make it significantly easier for players todecorate their Teapot inGenshin Impact. After reaching the final Teapot rank, the furnishing purchase limit will be increased to 10, and all furniture from the Realm Depot will be heavily discounted. Furthermore, a “Fast Obtain” option will be added, where players will be able to outright buy the missing furniture from a furnishing set simply by inspecting its details. In case the furniture needs to be crafted, it will instead automatically be added to Tubby’s crafting queue.
Completing furnishing sets can be a decent source of Primogems inGenshin Impact, especially once players need to scrape together a few extra pulls to hit pity on a desired 5-Star character. That being said, given thatGenshin Impacttakes players to Remuriain the Sea of Yore, the world map user interface has also been changed to accommodate all the separate instances, such as Enkanomiya and the Chasm. Starting from Version 4.6, players no longer need to scroll to find the region or zone they want to teleport to.
Since regions all have labels of their own despite being on the shared overworld, this change is also setting the stage for Natlan, Snezhnaya, and potentially Khaenri’ah further down the line.Genshin Impactis launching Natlanin late Summer 2024, which may see the inclusion of mounts to the game. While it remains to be seen if the new mounts will be restricted to just the region of Natlan, it’s arguably the most exciting leak to come out of the Nation of War thus far.
