AGenshin Impactplayer has recently dropped Paimon off a cliff, creating a hilarious scene. It’s yet another funnyGenshin Impactbug that makes for a very memorable scene, the latest of the many times thatPaimon has found herself in a rough spotinGenshin Impact.

Paimon is certainly the most divisiveGenshin Impactcharacter ever. While some players would defend her as a cute, sassy companion for the Traveler, others roll their eyes whenever she starts explaining something obvious during a cutscene. However, it can’t be said that she doesn’t star in some of the game’s most memorable moments, whether it’s the time when the protagonist called her Emergency Food for the first time or one of the many times when she invented a mean nickname for a new character. She’s also the star of several hilarious bugs and strange situations, such as when aGenshin Impactplayer recorded Paimon fighting Hilichurls.

Genshin Impactplayer Destructor200314 recently discovered an unusual situation when trying out a time-limited quest available only on the Golden Apple Archipelago. As can be seen in the short video shared by the gamer, they were trying to solve the quest when they triggered a scripted scene. Paimon was summoned for a conversation, however, she had no floor below her, and spawned right into a cliff, falling down in a hilarious scene, made even more entertaining by the fact that Paimon can actually fly in the game’s story.

In the comments of the Reddit post, it’s not hard to find people making fun of the whole situation, with many people calling her “Byemon.” SaberWaifu, for instance, jokingly explained that the whole event only happened because Paimon was constantly eating too much. So, naturally, she couldn’t fly anymore. Others took their time to reminisce how much they missedthe Golden Apple Isles, which were only available during the Summer, in the 1.6 and the 2.8 versions of the game.

WhileGenshin Impactplayers have divided opinions on Paimon and her antics, some players from theHonkai: Star Railcommunity have agreed on the best quality-of-life featureof the game: not having Paimon or anyone like her as a constant companion. According to these players, Paimon does all the talking and leaves no space for the player to express themselves, as well as constantly overexplaining every single scene, which made her very annoying in the community’s view. One thing is certain, though,Genshin Impactwould be a completely different game if Paimon was just knocked off a cliff and never came back.

Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
