Beating Gna triggers a cutscene featuring Kratos, Gna, and Freya, and one player witnessed aGod of War Ragnarokglitchthat gives Freya wings.

Reddit user False_Willingness_82 shared a video on theGod of War Ragnaroksubreddit showing the surprising glitch. The first few seconds show the final moments of Gna’s boss fight when Kratos defeats her and triggers the cutscene. Generally, thisGod of War Ragnarokcinematic features a regular version of Freya without wings. However, False_Willingness_82’s video shows Freya adorned in her majestic Valkyrie wings as theGod of War Ragnarokcutscene progresses. The cutscene continues for about two minutes longer, and Freya’s wings remain intact during that entire duration. Moreover, Freya’s wings are still present after the cinematic ends.
A closer inspection of the video shows that just before Kratos was about todestroy Gna inGod of War Ragnarok, Freya was in the middle of one of her Valkyrie attacks. When Freya performs a Valkyrie move, her wings pop out, and it happened at the precise moment when False_Willingness_82 defeated Gna. As a result, a glitch caused Freya to retain her Valkyrie form, leading to the spectacular display.
Freya is one of the central figures in theGod of WarNorse universe, as she often proves to be a key ally to Kratos and Atreus. In the previous installment, she was introduced as the Witch of The Woods, and it is later revealed that she’s Odin’s wife.Freya’s relationship with Kratos is complicated inGod of War Ragnarok, as she initially has mixed feelings about the events of the 2018 game.
