Despite releasing over a year ago and since receiving multiple content updates and hotfixes,Cyberpunk 2077still possesses a fair number of technical hiccups. While it’s safe to say at this point that the current state ofCyberpunk 2077is considerably better than when it first launched back in 2020, there are still plenty of glitches that have managed to slip through the cracks. Though, most are actually quite hilarious to witness instead of being game-breaking.
WhenCyberpunk 2077 wasfirst released, the sheer amount of bugs that players had to contend with made the game practically unplayable. Some of the issues ranged from frame rate dips to poor rendering speeds to the numerous in-gamecrashes thatCyberpunk 2077players had to deal with during the first several months of the game being commercially available. Luckily, most glitches inCyberpunk 2077are less disruptive and more humorous in nature, as is the case with this most recent glitch.

Over on Reddit, a user named Brave-Total-8989 posted a brief gameplay clip where the playable character, V, escorts an NPC to a vehicle that has been flipped upside down. V then explains that the car will take the NPC somewhere safe, to which the NPC proceeds to thank V before flipping 180 degrees into the air before entering the car from the same angle. The car wheels later start spinning as if the vehicle is supposed to leave at that point.
Not only is this scene absolutely hilarious, but it also illustrates justhow much can go wrong inCyberpunk 2077. It’s unclear whether the car was flipped upside down when the player first arrived there or if the player had somehow crashed the vehicle beforehand. Either way, the NPC flipping upside down, only for the animation of them entering the car to play at the re-oriented angle is not only bizarre but extremely entertaining.
It’s amazing how players are still managing to encounter glitches like this almost two years afterCyberpunk 2077first launched. It’s clear thatCD Projekt Redis continuing to improve the game from a technical standpoint, but given just how many issuesCyberpunk 2077first faced during its initial release, the game still has a long way to go, as evidenced by this car glitch.
In any case, it will be interesting to see what the future holds forCyberpunk 2077going forward. In addition to continuing to patch the game, CD Projekt Red is still working on freeDLC forCyberpunk 2077. Right now, it’s hard to know when DLC campaigns forCyberpunk 2077will release, but it is clear that CD Projekt Red is currently developing them at the very least.
Cyberpunk 2077is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
