While there is a large sense of community in-game, one can easily find groups for the game online as well. For example, Reddit has a thrivingElden Ringcommunity where hundreds of posts go up daily. These posts vary from in-game clips of players' successes or failures toElden Ringpot boy sculpturescreated using a 3-D printer. However, another site forElden Ringcontent is YouTube, and YouTuber Marco Yolo recently posted an incredible intro forElden Ringbased off of the T.V. showFriends.

Using the T.V. show’s intro music along with footage from the game, Marco Yolo managed to design an intro that incorporated many of the most important side characters as well as some of the game’s bosses, such asElden Ring’s Starscourge Radahn. What works best for the video is how well Marco lines up these clips with the theme song of the show, turning the intro into a series of funny clips depicting the main character along with well-timed cuts to side characters and bosses. The funniest of these was perhaps when Fia hugs the player, only to immediately cut to Patches kicking the player off a cliff.

YouTube commenters loved the video and many added their own jokes underneath the intro. For example, one shot from the video featuresElden Ring’s turtle popetitled as such, which one user insisted should be corrected to “dog pope.” Another shot references this joke, as a turtle is instead labeled as a dog; this has been a running joke in the game since day 1, as players have left messages in front of all manner of animals calling them dogs. Another user joked that this newFor Honorupdate looks good, alluding to the fact that Marco Yolo typically posts content for that game.

Regardless of the jokes, Marco Yolo’s themed intro is an incredible work that deserves a ton of recognition. With perfect music and scene mash-ups as well as hilarious depictions and names for the characters, the video is a riot from start to finish.
