Larkin does a beautiful job at bringing out the deeper emotions of in-game moments, and he is thankfully composing the sequel as well. Songs like “Sealed Vessel” and “Soul Sanctum” were some of the best tracks fromHollow Knight’s soundtrack, and it’s exciting to know that Christopher Larkin will be potentially imbuing the sequel with phenomenal tracks as well. With so muchspeculation surroundingSilksong, it’s a relief that a magnificent OST will likely be guaranteed.

DeveloperTeam Cherry may continue to stay silentahead of launch, but the soundtrack by Christopher Larkin has received exciting updates in the past. Four years ago, Larkin uploaded two previews of theSilksongsoundtrack to his YouTube channel. These two songs, titled “Bonebottom” and “Lace,” are some of the most substantialSilksongupdates eager fans have received.Silksongwas announced back in 2019, and since then, these two soundtrack previews from Larkin have provided at least a tiny insight into the game’s development.

Both Team Cherry and Christopher Larkin proved their creative prowess, and although it is a huge challenge to meet expectations after such great success, the studio and composer both have the talent to do so.
