HoYoverse has just announced that it is partnering with tea shops across the globe for a new limited-time event forHonkai: Star Rail. For fans who have been waiting to attend a physical event themed afterHonkai: Star Railand its characters, this may be the soonest chance they have to get exclusive products and merchandise with designs based on the gacha game.Three months afterHonkai: Star Rail’s release, HoYoverse is showing no signs of stopping when it comes to updating and promoting the game. Players are constantly preoccupied with new character banners and events, and though there may be some lulls between these activities, the daily grind of leveling characters and farming materials can still keep them busy. The list of participating countries include the United States, South Korea, Japan, France, Germany, Argentina, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. HoYoverse clarified that the United Kingdom was originally supposed to be part of the list, but has been removed. The ending date for the Global Tea Event will also depend on the country that the player is in.
The event was announced with a short trailer that featuredHonkai: Star Rail’s Stellaron Hunters Kafka and Blade, while also showcasing some of the official merchandise that fans can expect to get. This includes character-themed cup sleeves, coasters, stickers, and a scratch card that can reward players with physical prizes or in-game bonuses. Each tea shop will have a specialized drink that will center aroundHonkai: Star Railand its theme, though the fan base will have to wait for news from the brands before they get details on what they can order.
