ArecentHonkai: Star Railleak, which comes courtesy of Firefly Leak, has revealed that version 2.4 will introduce a pair of five-star characters, Jiaoqiu and Screwllum. According to the banner schedule, Jiaoqiu will appear in the first part of the update, while Screwllum will arrive in the second part. At the time of writing, not many details are available about their debut banners, but players can expect them to feature several rerun characters. This leak came as a surprise to many players, as it was previously rumored that version 2.4 would bringHonkai: Star Rail’s Sunday. Now, it appears that Trailblazers will have to wait a little longer to obtain the elder brother of Robin.
Honkai: Star Rail’s Jiaoqiu is a five-star characterwho treads on the Nihility path and specializes in reducing the enemy’s DEF. He inflicts a stack of debuff on targets and dishes out Fire damage over time. Using his ultimate, Jiaoqiu deals damage to multiple targets on the battlefield. It’s safe to assume that the upcoming unit will fit into the support role.
Screwllum, on the other hand, is a robotic unit that scales off ATK and follows the Erudition path. The five-star character dishes out a reasonable amount of Imaginary damage to a single target and inflicts the “Diffusion Mark” debuff on enemies. Moreover, he reduces their resistance by 20% for a couple of turns.Honkai: Star Railplayers can expect him to be a DPS unit with incredible damage output.
