AHonkai: Star Railleak has revealed the in-game animations for one of the most anticipated characters, Mechanical Aristocrat Screwllum I, more commonly known as just Screwllum. SinceHonkai: Star Railwas released in April 2023, its roster has grown considerably, with each update introducing new playable units.
The ongoingHonkai: Star Railupdate 2.3 has introduced the long-awaited Firefly, who arrived as part of the first limited banner. She is joined by the Harmony character Ruan Mei, who received her first banner re-run. The second banner phase is reserved for the new Erudition character Jade and the multi-target DPS, Argenti.
Screwllum has already made an appearance inHonkai: Star Rail’s main storyline, where he was introduced as a mechanical lifeform and the leader of the resistance against Genius Society #27, Rubert I, to protect organic lifeforms and secure peace for similar mechanical beings.Screwllum is also known as member #76 of the Genius Society, who lives on Planet Screwllum. It should be noted that the data was taken beforeHonkai: Star RailVersion 2.0, meaning that HoYoverse could have made changes to his model since then.
Honkai: Star Rail: Screwllum Release Date and Kit Expectations
Another Genius Society member, Herta, has revealed that Screwllum has some of the best hacking skills in the universe, on par withHonkai: Star Rail’s Silver Wolf. Many fans suspect that Screwllum’s combat animations will be tied to his hacking skills. According to previous leaks, he will be an offensive Imaginary character. His Skill will deal Imaginary damage to multiple enemies, scaling with his ATK stat.
Screwllum’s Ultimate will reduce enemies' resistance to Imaginary damage and attack all enemies on the field. When it comes to his exact release date, there is still no credible information.Honkai: Star Rail’s recent Special Program eventannounced a couple of upcoming characters, none matching Screwllum’s description, meaning that this character probably won’t join the roster any time soon.
The only confirmed information about his release date is that he won’t be part of the current 2.3 or the upcomingHonkai: Star Railupdate 2.4, as HoYoverse already confirmed the arrival of two new units for this version of the game: Yunli and Jiaoqiu. Yunli is expected to arrive on the first limited banner, while Jiaoqiu should be featured in the second part of the update.
