Where things currently stand with leaks, Clorinde appears to be an Overloaded DPS much like the five-star expected to come before her, Fatui Harbinger Arlecchino. The reaction has not received much love in the game’s past, not until the introduction offour-star Pyro polearm Chevreuse. Her kit is the first indication that Overload may pop up in more team comps, like how a few other units made their niches:

In terms of theGenshin ImpactCynocomparisons, leakers' current expectations of Clorinde is that she will use her elemental skill during her burst to deal more damage. There is no word about extending her burst yet, but if she’s been compared to Cyno, this isn’t something entirely off the table. There is also word that her kit might have some support additions to it, but no solid details. This could mean anything from being self-sustaining, similar to units like Gaming or that she could have genuine support abilities that will help her team help her.
Clorinde’s Leaked Kit is Subject to Change
There isn’t a lot on her, but some leakers suggest that her constellations will be worthwhile. Though there is no description of these either, it’s implied that these constellations should make her viable outside an Overloaded team comp. Considering that the niche for that reaction is still in the process of being made and isn’t finite yet, that is good news for free-to-play users who have their eye on her.
As it currently stands, Chevreuse is the only unit guaranteed to be on an Overloaded team composition. AlthoughArlecchino has also been mentioned as an Overloaded DPS, it usually isn’t a great idea for two DPS characters to be on the same team unless one is a sub-DPS like Yae Miko or Fischl. Unless the information suggesting that Clorinde has support abilities in her kit is true, it would be hard to make a complete team for her with what is present in-game at the moment.
But this does not mean players should not try. If Clorinde is the main goal for players, the team will likely have to revolve around her. Since Chevreuse is the only confirmed teammate for her right now, there are a few good options for players to look at. For starters, Chevreuse is only good if the team is strictly Pyro and Electro.
