In the annals of livestreaming history, Ice Poseidon plays a key but dark role. Once one ofTwitch’s fastest rising stars and an innovator of IRL content creation, Ice Poseidon also developed a toxic community often accused of bigotry and harassment. That very community contributed to Ice Poseidon’sTwitchban, as a viewer called in a bomb threat on a flight he was on and Twitch decided that it couldn’t platform the community anymore. Ice Poseidon has spent the years since jumping between platforms, but may now be ready to return to streaming.
In a post to his Instagram story on August 17,Ice Poseidonconfirmed plans to return to content creation. The controversial influencer announced that he is planning to first start by increasing his activity on his Instagram Story. He has, for the time being, not posted any Instagram stories since. It isn’t clear when he will begin to increase his activity but his new Instagram posts will be exploring what he’s “been up to.” It’s the start of what Ice Poseidon believes will be a building to something more.

Beyond more frequent posts to his Instagram Story, Ice Poseidon confirmed that he’s returning to streaming. “I’m coming back to streaming,” is the exact statement from Ice Poseidon. There’s no further information regarding when he plans to start streaming again, what kind of content he’ll be streaming, or even what platform he’ll be using.
The most likely scenario going forward is that Ice Poseidon will bestreaming on YouTube. That’s where most of his more recent content resides, outside of Instagram and Twitter. However, Ice Poseidon hasn’t streamed to YouTube in 10 months, so it’s possible the content creator has another platform in mind. There aren’t many other platforms for him to move to, though.
For those curious whether Ice Poseidon could come back to Twitch, his permanent ban remains in place. Ice Poseidon has previously said he’sreached out to Twitchto see if his ban could be reverted, but there’s been no confirmed change in plans yet. It’s not impossible to imagine Twitch changing its mind, but it would be surprising, to say the least.
Ice Poseidon will be returning to streaming following yet another massive controversy. In June 2021, Ice Poseidon was involved with acryptocurrency"pump and dump" scam in which he later admitted to taking $500,000 from his fanbase. Whether this impacts the ex-Twitchstreamer’s following for when he returns to content creation remains to be seen.
