Velan Studios and EA’sKnockout Cityis a team-based multiplayer dodgeball game that’s out now for consoles and PC. And like a lot of other multiplayer titles,Knockout Cityallows players to customize their avatar with different outfits, and there’s even a battle pass esque system that gives players rewards for playing the game and getting experience in matches. One of the items that players can unlock via this method are calledStyle Chips.
What are Style Chips for?
Style Chips can be used inKnockout Cityto unlock additional styles for outfits, giving players new color schemes to try out or new patterns. The Style Chips can also be used for gloves, too.

How to Get Style Chips in Knockout City
From there main hub area ofKnockout City, players can press the pause button to open up the main menu. From here, players should press on “Street Rank” to check out thegame’s version of a battle pass. For every street rank level that players reach by gaining XP, they will receive a special reward. Level 4, for example, will gift players a new hairstyle to put on, and level 5 will give gamers an intro animation. Style Chips can be rewarded to players once they reach level 7 street rank, which doesn’t take too much time at all. By playing just a few matches, players will easily level up through the ranks.
However, getting more Style Chips will take a bit longer. After getting the one Style Chip at level 7, players will have to get to level 17 to get another one, and then to 27 after that. By gaining 10 levels, players will get another Style Chip, which will keep happening until the tier is fully completed. For some reason, though, players will receive 3 Style Chips at level 47, and then 5 Chips at level 97.
Knockout Cityplayerscan go into the Brawl Shop to spend real-world money to purchase more Holobux for outfits, but, as of right now, there’s no way for players to purchase Style Chips with real money or Holobux. The only way is to play the game and get XP to unlock them via the Sreet Rank levels. However, if Velan Studios or EA puts a patch through that adds in the feature, then this article will be updated with the new information.
