InLeague of Legends: Wild Rift,Jinx is an extremely popular and powerful Marksman. Out of all the Marksman in the game, she is tied for the longest auto-attack range once her Q is maxed. Her exceptional range allows her to safely output damage where most cannot retaliate with ease and with proper protection; consequently, she can feel nearly undefeatable in team fights.

Having the knowledge to counter aLeague of LegendsChampion such as Jinx will be extremely valuable for all players since, currently, she is one of the most played Champions in the game. Let’s discusshow to defeat Jinx inLoL: Wild Rift.
Champions
Seraphine
Seraphine is great at countering Jinx due toher exceptional range and great Poke and Burst Damage. It’s much harder for her E and Ult to be dodged by Jinx due to Jinx’s immobility. Jinx also lacks any form of sustain, without hindering her ideal build order.
Seraphinealso has long-rangeon her abilities, which makes one of Jinx’s biggest strengths neutralized since Jinx won’t be able to gain an advantage by her range alone.

Miss Fortune
Miss Fortune is verydominant in the Early to Mid-Game, which is where Jinx is the weakest. Miss Fortune is great at dealing Poke Damageand can easily burstJinx with her Ultimate if given the chance to.
Miss Fortune’s E is also very good against Jinx because it has a slowing effect, which is extremely powerful against Champions who don’t have any forms of mobility.

Veigar
Veigar hasone of the strongest single-target Burst Damage combos inLoL: Wild Rift. However, that is only theicing on the cakewhen it comes to countering Jinx. His E Ability limits Jinx’s walking room due to fear of getting stunned by the wall Veigar surrounds her with.

Jinx has no way out of this Champion’s E since she cannot dash, which makes her a sitting duck for any nearby enemies. If her health drops anywhere near the 50% mark, a simple tap from Veigar’s Ultimate Ability will immediately kill Jinx.
Jhin
Jhin isgreat at keeping lane priority with his wave clear from Qand can Poke Jinx relatively easily with it. Jhin is also strong in the Early to Mid-Game while Jinx is mostly a Mid to Late-Game champion.
Jinx has no easy way to dodge Jhin’s W, and if she gets hit by it, she will become snared. The former can’t afford to be hitby CC, as it usually results in her losing the majority of her Health or she dies. Jhin’s Ultimate Ability also packs a huge punch and is not easy to dodge when you lack mobility or dashes.

Ashe
Ashe has anAuto Attack Range advantage over Jinx, even when she’s in Rocket Form, at least for the first few levels of the laning phase. Ashe’s Auto Attacks slow the enemy on every hit and Slows are extremely useful against Champions that are immobile, such as Jinx.

Once Ashe unlocks her Ultimate Ability, Jinx can no longer contest for farm without fearing for her life. The Stun + Slow from Ashe’sUltimate will usually set upan easy kill on Jinx and once she falls behind in the Early Game, it makes it that much harder for her to get back into the game to be effective.
Crowd Control
Crowd Control (CC) is an effect that can interrupt or disrupt the Movement or Attacking of a Champion.Jinx is extremely susceptible to CC, due to her low defense and lack of mobility. Most Champions aren’t too afraid of soft CC (Slows, Cripple, Blind) but even basic forms of CC like these can spell doom for Jinx.
Slows hurt her a lot because Jinx’s immobility is her biggest weakness. However, hard CC (Stuns, Silence, Snare)nearly ensures Jinx’s demise because most Assassins and Bruisers can kill her quickly if given the chance.
