Summary
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealthhas put out a new patch that addresses save file issues, dungeon experience gains, and more. Touted as the largest game in the franchise,Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealthbrings the franchise’s newest protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, on an adventure to Hawaii, giving players access to a large new set of jobs, mini-games, subquests, and a whole lot more.
There’s certainly no shortage of activities to take part in during one’sLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealthplaythrough. The game continues introducing new side activities and mini-games hours into its playtime. One ofInfinite Wealth’s major new additions is Dondoko Island, a location Kasuga travels to off the mainland shore of Hawaii where players can construct and run their own island resort,Animal Crossing-style. Like many other RPGs of its caliber,Infinite Wealthalso offers players a grinding dungeon, called Hawaiian Haunt, that allows them to battle through multiple floors of enemies to raise their levels and job ranks in preparation for the next big story moment.

Nearly two months since the game’s launch,Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealthhas released another small patch, 1.19. The update stabilizes the game’s save files that have lots of in-game photos stored within them, as these have previously caused headaches for fans who have been enjoyingcapturing Hawaii’s beauty inInfinite Wealth. A bug related to kitting out Kasuga’s house on Dondoko Island has been patched up as well, as previously, players who crammed his living space with furniture to boost his health experienced irregular behavior.
Patch 1.19 also goes on to fix a bug related to specificLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealthdungeon bossesnetting the wrong amount of experience upon defeat. Strangely, the patch notes don’t indicate exactly which dungeon bosses have been the culprits, nor which dungeons they reside in, whether story related or the Hawaiian Haunt grinding dungeon. Additionally, the note didn’t express whether players were earning too much or too little from defeating these bugged bosses. Bugged party chats, in-game Tag Team icons and typos have been addressed by patch 1.19 as well.
Considering just how largeLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealthis, not only in size or length, but also in how many of the franchise’s characters are involved in the main story, it seems unlikely that developer Ryu Ga Gotoko has any plans for story DLC. With that said, the next mainline title is likely several years away, but the studio has lately been known to release smaller-scaled games, likeIshinandGaidenmore recently, to hold fans over. However, there’s likely still some more patches inInfinite Wealth’s immediate future.
